When we started 0-3 we put ourselves in a really tough position,... but the team never quit even when we lost Pennington and Ronnie. We played hard despite having the toughest schedule in the NFL. You look at the Broncos.....they have a better record but they have played a vanilla soft schedule. The frustrating thing is we had our chances today but things just didn't fall our way. JT sacks Vince Young and Young fumbles it and our O-line stands around and does nothing...the next play Young throws a TD....that's the way the whole day went. We still have an outside shot at the playoffs, but this teams needs to add some more talent....a #1 WR....a kick returner who runs forward with the ball and doesn't fumble it, lots of help on defense, etc., I think we are close, but we are not there yet.

We all knew this year could be rough, and boy has it ever. I'm encouraged by the competitive spirit that I see, but know there is more work to be done. Still it's only been 2 years since we were the laughing stock of the league, and look now the teams we play usually get worn out, except in cases when we hand it over. I think we'll be better again next year. Our imperial hierarchy seem to know what their doing when it comes to the draft. I also think that they have reached in free agency to try to plug holes AND hope they find a "diamond in the rough".... so far without much luck. The playoff were a 'pipe dream' to me after the start we had, and still there's an outside chance. Problem is: who could we beat? Answer: nobody.... Wait till next year... our famous battle cry.

No we don't, these guys just can't close out games consistently the right way. We still need more talented players.

We are a better team than we were last year when we made it.. so its still a possibility. If we dont turn over the ball so much, we blow out Tennessee yesterday.. there is still some hope.. yeah, its a long shot.. but its still a shot

Well it's not over yet by any means, the whole AFC is 7-7 and the wildcards are 8-6 so if you win out and Pitt beats Baltimore doesn't that put you in the playoffs. I know the Fins have the better conference record. But if it is over then it was a great run and the end of a dissapointing decade for the franchise but when the Colts and Patriots step down from dominance I could see the Fins being one of the top teams if the Tuna stays IMO. I mean, its not everyday you get a GM that can turn a 1-15 to a playoff contender two years in a row!

i think the pipe dream is over, the coach gets too excitied over every little play, doesn't know diddley on clock management when you look back over the season, Henning doesn't have any pocket presense, and how in the world do you keep ginn in the game when he takes a dive before getting tackle - this is the coaches responsibility to make sure the best players are on the field and clearly fat arse coach cant see this. there are some good coaches coming available and why not give it a shot.

I thought our QB's name is Henne????
