Really nice interview. Also offers some insight into the JT situation. Sounding more and more likely he wears the aqua and orange in 2008.

Its like night and day....cam/Tony whatsamattafo U

I thought it was interesting and quite telling when Tony spoke of the JT situation and how he thought everyone was on the same page about what would happen with the conclusion of DWS. I think Tony was definitely under the impression JT would return for the OTA's and I believe that's where this thing got side tracked. I think JT was liking all the attention and wanted more, that's why he didn't return as some thought he might.

Nevertheless I think things have a chance of working out in our favor and we see JT play for us this year and who knows, maybe 2. I think JT is leaving the door open for the final year when he says and I quote.."my plans RIGHT NOW, are to play football in 08".

Nice, he sure doesn't sound like a rookie headcoach. He is the total opposite of Cam. I have a good feeling about this upcoming season.

I think we'll sweep the Jets this year if nothing else...

Anyone catch the clip of him at JT's benefit?

His wife looks like the stereotypical mafia wife. Joy-zee is in da house...

Excellent interview!

I'm really excited to see how he coaches. After the last two, I would love to see someone with the ability to coach guys up, not scream at them or ignore them. I think Tony is a coach at heart and while he might yell from time to time I think he has a grasp on actually coaching players. I like what I'm hearing from the guy so far.

It is funny that as I listened to that interview I had to force myself to recognize that it was our head coach speaking. That is not a good thing in my mind. Both this board and the media has put toward his holiness Bill Parcells is really quite sickening.

I want to hear more from our head coach and our general manager . . . and less from Parcells because I think that Sparano could be a great coach if he is not held back by B.P.

If this guy can coach as well as he does an interview where in business. I like what he says and how he says it. I cant wait to see our guys, sounds like there in great shape. The funny thing about Parcells is he hasnt said anything yet but everything that happens with this team is his decision lol. The only statement he made was after jason cole said JT was being traded was JT will either play for us or retire and so far hes lived up to that statement.

Good interview. I like the fact that he gave a little insight on some of the roles that guys will play on the team. He talked about Quentin Moses at the WLB position who they really like and Charlie Anderson who could rush the passer as well.

Yeah! I really like that part. I've had a good feeling about those guys and it's great to hear the coach speak about some of the things I was feeling.

Regarding JT, I think or hope in the end we'll all be one happy family again. I like what he said about JT rushing the passer. The thing is, they're a new regime trying to rebuild a franchise that has been in the gutter for a while now and is in desperate need of rebuilding. They have to put their stamp and personality on the franchise, so if they bend on the JT situation, they're going to be sending a bad message to the rest of the players....that they're not strong and committed to the bigger picture of the franchise. I think JT understands that. This is going about normally and the media is really making this into a monster. This is just the way it is in modern sports with star, franchise type players nearing the end of their careers. Were probably going to see many more situations like this in the future..mark my words.

MY MY MY how the the JT situation start to switch when we start to hear some of the people involve speak, instead of us listening to what the media has to say and the BS stories they make up just to get a story. My bet is JT will stay in miami in 08.

if he'll be in aqua and orange, i hope jt will be the leader he's always been and not a distraction. the team is so fragile imho. we have a good fusion of youth and experience, but if the youth see negativity from our veterans, it will not help us in the future. either way, i'm excited about the upcoming season and beyond...

Sounds like a confident, decisive, no-nonsense coach who won't be standing up there in post game press conferences excusing losses and emphasizing silver linings like Wanny. Hopefully he'll make his players feel as accountable as he himself will be to the Tuna. Of course talk is cheap and the proof will be in the pudding so to speak, but at least there's some reason for optimism.
