Vikings fan.

Hello everyone,

I'm a Vikings fan joining your board, my cyber-home is purplepride.org. I grew up in MN and have followed the Vikings since the '60s. Growing up my second favorite team was the Dolphins, during the Griese/Csonka/Warfield days. I have followed the Dolphins, albeit not as closely as the Vikings, since the early '70s. In the late '70's the Saints overtook the Fins in my hierarchy (I'm a glutton for punishment). My hierarchical list since the '70s is:

1. Vikings
2. Saints
3. Dolphins

So, the top team on the list trumps my loyalty for the other teams. The rest of the teams in the NFL don't make the list.

Welcome aboard. Can't say much for your list other than if you pay attention this season the dolphin's might just move up on that list.We can alway's hope if not welcome anyway.

I was a big Culpepper supporter over the years until he did his ungraceful exit from the Vikes. At this juncture of his career he will either tank or continue on to have an HOF career. Was 2004 real or was 2005 real? He is obviously very athletic, but has a tendency to turn the ball over.

This article, "Empty Glass": http://purplepride.org/index.php?name=Blogs&mode=user&nick=prophet summarizes my thoughts on Cpep.

I hope he does well, except when he plays the Vikings. I will be in Miami when they play in Nov. Should be a good game.

Thanks for the welcome! Only a few more days and the preseason kicks off. It has been a long offseason.
