Nfldraftcountdown has a new Mock draft.Just thought some people would be interested....

No way, 2 stud safeties and 2 stud CB, and 2 stud WR's all after the 16th pick....sorry no way Saban takes Cutler with this much talent in other areas that would have an immediate impact. Just dont see it.

With Chambers, Booker, and Welker, I don't see the point of taking a WR in the first. And we don't have to take a CB or safety in the first. We took a CB in the fourth last year, and look how that turned out.

So what that doesn't mean we have to rely on something so arbitrary as that and besides we'll need a #1 CB soon, not a #2-3 like Daniels.

Lendale White picked before DeAngolo Williams???

Lendale didnt even start and DeAngolo was 3rd in the nation with rushing yards a rushing TD's.

Hmmmm. Has serious similarities as last years with Ronnie Brown ~vs~ Cedric Benson undertones. Not saying that the backs are the same, actually I havent seen any DeAngelo Williams tape (I have heard some very good reports), I just see serious similarities is all.

I am personally glad I am not in Saban/Mueller's shoes come draft time is this is the scenario. Or maybe wish I was. I think it is actually win/win. Cutler or Huff, Huff or Cutler. Saban, I believe is a defensive GURU and Huff is gonna be a serious Pro (IMO), however, I think Cutler could be "The real deal."

Cutler could very well be the real deal, but like what was said earlier. You see two badass DB's available to you that could provide immediate impact in an area of our roster that is seemingly the weakest, you probably go with that and take your chances on a QB later on. It's all a tossup and you go with the more sure thing at the time. Now are you going to burst out crying if Cutler turns into the next Dan Marino, sure, but thems the breaks ;o.

I'm not sold on Cutler yet, and in this mock I would be dissapointed if we passed on Jimmy Williams.

I just think it would be too easy to pick up a solid corner via FA this year. There are at least a handful of top notch CBs that will be available. QB is a much harder need to fill unless we somehow wind up with Culpepper. Safety is definitely a need position, and I would love to see Huff in a Fins uniform next year. Immediate impact, Sean Taylor like ability. WR is a huge reach in the first round, and I would be extremely dissapointed if we drafted one with all of the other needs. There will be solid receivers in the second and third round (see Mike Haas), and via FA.

we are not gonna get a shot at huff or williams in my oppinion and i think it is very likely cutler falls to us unless he has a sick game in the senior bowl

In that mock draft Huff went to the Ravens at 13, But Jimmy Williams was still around for our 16th pick.

There has been so many #1 CB's drafted in rounds after 2. Don't get me wrong, if Cutler isn't there by the time we pick, then yeah go after a CB or safety. But I believe we need to hop on a QB the first chance we get.

No way he takes a WR at the 16th pick. I see OT, CB, or QB. If Cutler is there, and he is looked at as a first round pick by Saban, then I believe he WILL take him.
