SMART?!?!?!?! The guy who one play said something along the lines of "You cannot give the Patriot defense backs too much time to adjust" and then on the NEXT DRIVE said something along the lines of "You just can't give Brady that much time in the backfield. He is going to find the open man".

Which is it smarty?

Don't forget he is a world-class author:

Suzy is okay when it comes to football but she needs to do something about her dykish voice. Annoying.

I would prefer Al and Mike Patrick. I really like Mike's excitement on Sunday nights. It's just Theismann that ruins things at night. I don't even mind Paul McGuire.

When Patrick was sports commentator on wtlv, channel 12 in jacksonville fl, he was noted for his "HOLYCOW" excitement. He still says it.

Well since he's talking about the Patriots on both sides of the ball that isn't a contradiction.

giving cornerback's time to adjust?

Giving the quarterback too much time?

That is the contradiction.

Theisman definitely does blow as a commentator... just wont be the same without ol' Madden.

I'll never forget this line Joe Theisman said 2 years ago, "I think Jay Fiedler is a very good quarterback, in fact, I think he'll make the Pro Bowl this year."

Yeah, that was during that Sunday-night Buffalo game- I'll never forget it. I almost spit my drink all over my TV when he said that. I can't stand Theisman.

I beg to differ. He is saying that if you give Tom Brady too much time, he will find the open man, and he is saying that you can't give the Patriots DB's time to adjust, or they will gut you. Last I checked Tom Brady does not play against the New England Patriots DB's, unless you're talking about a Patriots scrimmage that is.

Hes talking about the Patriots Offense on one drive and the Patriots Deffense on another, Unless the Patriots were playing against themselves (like the Jets do every week) I don't see how this is a contradiction.

I swear to F-ing GOD this absolutely sucks beyond everything else that has ever sucked before. I LOATHE JOE THEISMAN. In fact I Loathe him so much I wish evil things on him. I can't stand that man. His analysis' are awful and his jokes make me want to sharpen pencils and jam them in my ears.

Good God man, DIE DIE DIE!

I like Theisman, okay he has some flaws, but he does a good job in my opinion....much better than the obvious insight from Maguire. I hope Madden just goes in the nursing home soon! Now I can enjoy MNF with Madden gone

I have never heard of anyone ever say "giving cornerbacks too much time to adjust". Well I have in the sense of the guy was open and waited to long to throw him the ball. This was not the situation. This was just the quarterback had 6 seconds to throw the ball. Which is always a good situation. Unless, according to Thiesman, it is against the Patriots.

"Look at the fire in his (Dan Marino) eyes. You can tell just by looking at him. Only the great ones have that look. I had that look."
-Joe Thiesmann during a game televised in the late 80's

I love Joey T. His conceited, but he's a closet Phin fan, and he loved Marino.

Suzy and Michelle? (slurring)I wanna kiss them...

And that is stupid.
