I like Theisman, okay he has some flaws, but he does a good job in my opinion....much better than the obvious insight from Maguire. I hope Madden just goes in the nursing home soon! Now I can enjoy MNF with Madden gone

I wont be enjoying it that much this season cos of one reason. Dolphins wont be playing MNF!!!

why would Simms take the downgrade? ESPN paid $1 billion for MNF, but has no playoff games or Super Bowl. CBS is the better job and more high profile.

I can't stand Theismann. This guy is a freaking moron -- He's so far out of his zone when it comes to T.V. And he's plain STUPID. Sometimes he says things that make me even question if he's watching the game he's calling

i.e. In a Raiders/Chiefs game, second quarter Priest Holmes had 4 attempts for 44 yards 1 TD, 1 catch for another TD...Thiesmann chips in "Boy, Holmes has been shut down tonight. They might as well bring in that other guy, er what's his name...Larry Jackson". :shakeno:

Joe Freaking Theiesman on MNF? Are they insane? He is terrible. He shouldn't even be on Prime Time let alone MNF! I realy wish we could get a team of Al, Dan Dierdorf and Dan Fouts together. Dan Fouts is way better than Joe. What about Dick Enberg? ugh...this is disgusting.

I HIGHLY doubt that will really be the line-up come 2006. :eek:

I think they just have him under contract and have yet to sign who the REAL guy will be.

Thiesman is not Monday Night Football prime time material, and ESPN must be aware of that. Monday night is not the same as Sunday night NFL. :shakeno:

Steve Young or that old Eagles QB would be much better choices...
