:callme: Will Dolphins sign a wideout?
March 13
Palm Beach Post (scroll down): "If the Dolphins go the free-agency route, a handful of proven wideouts remain available, highlighted by the St. Louis Rams' Kevin Curtis... Veterans Travis Taylor of Minnesota, Bobby Engram of Seattle, Detroit's Corey Bradford, Eric Moulds of Houston and San Diego's San Diego's Az-Zahir Hakim and Keenan McCardell have not been signed."

The Dolphins have expressed an interest in free agent guard Matt Lehr, who has helped pave the way for the Falcons' top-ranked rushing attack the past two seasons.

"Matt offers some versatility as he's played both guard positions and center," said Robert Lattinville, Lehr's agent. "He also has sponsorship in [Dolphins offensive coordinator Hudson Houck], who's familiar with Matt."

The 6-foot-2, 304-pound Lehr, 27, played for Houck in Dallas in 2001. ...

The Dolphins are still trying to trade kicker Olindo Mare, as discussions continue with the Giants, Falcons, Saints and Browns.

Laron landry is the pick..I hope

There is no way Sidney Rice is available in the third, nor Staley that late. Those guys are 1st rounders.

yea, and I don't know if Stanton would still be there at the end of the 2nd round. I think the scouts have it right. I hope all those picks do come to us though. That would be great to have that much flexibilty with not having to reach for players out of need. WE CAN GET THEM ALL!!! HAHAHA (in a sinister tone)

thanks for the news.

i have to ask, is there a link to any rumor of trading renaldo hill for a fourth?
i've not seen anything, but have seen it brought up in threads around here.

phinfan77.........

there are numerous reports ala the mare thing that renaldo is being traded especially to the panthers who are very interested...i think if you do a search you will find it its there...n true lol

I see the Palm Beach got something wrong again.

Wilkinson was traded to the Broncos not the Bengals.

Staley in the 4th? Not likely. Detroit has already expressed intrerest in him and could be their pick at the top of the 2nd round.

Very unrealistic. Stanton, Rice, Staley, Kalil, and Ugoh will all be long gone before those picks.

Which 'scouts' are calling the draft that way?

I'd say unemployed ones.

What about:
1- Leon Hall
2- Zach Miller
2- Aaron Sears
3- Andy Alleman
4- Best WR(Paul Williams, Aundrea Allison, or whoever)
