New offense means a better Chad Henne = false sense of security

Blah Blah Blah. Henne is this and he is that. I am a Henne supporter mainly because Henne has shown he has the tools to be a QB in this league. Has he have a ruff time? Sure he has but so has the Coaching part of the game too. There's not a throw Henne can't make in this league. Hopefully, this new system will utilize his skill set better than the past. Guys coaching does make a difference with players in sports period. But I will say this if Henne can't put it together on a more consistant basis it will be his last year on this team and watch he will shine some where else. But for NOW I want all the Haters to fuel Henne to be on his A game. I can't see a bad QB throwing over 3000 yards. Mediocre yes ( with Potential ) but bad no way. Dolphin fans should know when they see a bad QB like Beck and AJ Feeley now that's bad.

After watching last year's games again; this is what I recommend:

Focus all your prayers on Moore and Devlin, because Henne really is a lost cause.

At what point can we say Henne sucks? Last year people just said "give him a full year as a starter." Now this year it's all about blaming Henning and giving him a year with a new coordinator. Next year it will be "this is his second season with a new coordinator so he will be familiar with the system". Eventually the excuses have to stop and people need to realize that Henne is at best a mediocre QB.

So someone can tell me our team the Miami Dolphins was a well coached team last year. Don't worry I'll wait. Henne wasn't only problem this team had on offense last year. So i take it the people on here think Henning did a great job last year at calling plays. LOL people can say Henne suxs at anytime but at the same time. Ask youself did Henne have the tools to help him succeed.

Here's a pointer: 3rd and long right? What do u think the play is? Right, it's a play action pass which Henne was no where near the running back to have the LB respect the run. Then he only has 1 receiver running a route. If that's not a coaching issue on all aspects of the game. I don't want is. That's coaching gentleman. That's what we had last year.

You are correct, but a good QB would still look good. Henne did not look good. I agree that Henning made him worse, but I don't think Henning took him from a good QB to a bad QB. I think Henning took him from a mediocre QB to a bad QB.

When/where was this?

This the first thing I have seen you post that I agree with. What I would like to see though, is acknowledgment that he has "rough" skills that can develop. You can't teach the arm strength, or his size. I know he has had some awful games, but he has also had some very good games as well, where has has beat the other team...not gotten lucky. To me, that says there is hope and potential for some development. Will it happen? I don't know, and neither do you. Either way, he is the qb this year. He isn't my first choice, or even in my top 15, but I hope he changes that. You can write "Henne sucks" 20k times and it will accomplish nothing except annoy others that are trying to share thoughts, read team news, or engage in productive conversation.

Not hatin on Henne but his arm strength is overrated. Yeah he can rifle 10-15 yards but when it comes to throwing it deep what happens to his arm strength? cause he under throws the deep ball almost every time. Ive never seen him hit a WR down the field over 30 yards in stride. He misses on those way too often and thats one of the things I get frustrated with Henne cause he can rifle it but his deep ball sucks, always short.

Good arm strength and size? He still has ****ty accuracy, locks on to receivers, poor decisions with the ball... Those aren't easy fixes. He is the same Chad Henne that he was at Michigan.

apparently reading comprehension is not one of our strong suits

Henne does not have to throw for 350 yards a game, folks. If he can simply cut down the mistakes and INT's and be a little more consistent, that defense is going to hurt some people. We're not that far away!

I'd rather Henne suck and ruin the franchise than to see him succeed

seriously, give it a rest guys. let the kid get a couple games in before you start crying the year away.

A couple of games are you kidding..So far.... 2008-2010 32- Games.......completed 582 of 953 =61%
Td's 27 Int's 33........Sacks 56........Fumbles 9........What have you been watching???????

Henne had a good first season, and a bad sophomore season, why does everybody act like he was terrible since he stepped foot on the field?

Nobody is saying you guys are wrong. I want Henne to succeed. I'm just not ready to call the season a disaster before we even play our first Preseason game.
