new orleans has a better offense than atl

New Orleans doesn't have a dominant ground game like Atlanta does...

the falcons are superior to the saints in every facet of the game, and at every position. regardless of what you see in the "stats"

Brooks may be better than Vick though.... i think Vick is vastly overrated. The best thing about Vick is that when he is in the game, the whole team plays better for some reason... even though his stats suck.. the team seems to rally around him.

I mentioned last Sunday night that New Orleans vastly underperforms its stats. Every year there are one or two teams like that and it's amazing how it will continue game after game. The bottom line: Altanta has scored 20 TDs in 7 games, the Saints have 12 TDs in 8 games. Brooks just hasn't been able to put them in the end zone while Atlanta finds multiple ways. Also, Atlanta is 11/11 in FG attempts while the Saints have missed 6, with one returned for a TD by Atlanta. Don't try to kid yourself and pretend they're comparable opponents.

He does not suck.
He wins ball games.
The reason why the team plays better when he comes in is exactly the same reason why 2nd and 3rd receivers get better contracts and more TD's when Randy Moss is in the game.

He changes the defensive gameplan drastically and can win a game of his own feet or through the air on some occasions.

Sort of sounds like Miami this year. They can get away with it against teams like NO. But they won't beat Atl if they continue to leave points on the field.

Atlanta has a helluva running game. And if we can't contain Vick and keep him from scrambling, it could open up some big plays downfield.

I wouldn't say he sucks either, but I do think he is a bad QB. He is one of the most amazing players to come along in quite some time that can do special things and most of all he wins. But, he is a really bad QB. His brother is much more accurate than him, he even says so himself. Its hard to say contain Dunn and make Vick beat you. He may not be able to do it with his arm all the time, but he most definately can beat you with his legs. To win, I think we have to just try to keep him off the field. Run the ball with R&R about 40-45 times and let him sit on the sideline.

Actually, I'm more afraid at how we have sucked against the run lately and QB pressure. I believe that our secondary woes have been directly affected by our inability to stop the run and put pressure on the QB. Even Charles Woodson or Patrick Surtain struggle when the Defensive Line can't stop the run or put pressure on the QB. The 3 games where we stopped the run and put pressure on the QB, we won. And we won with Reggie Howard starting a CB. When we couldn't stop the run or put pressure on the QB we lost all 4 times. Which Defensive Line is going to show up is the key of the game. Also, which Offensive Line. I have noticed that both our Lines' play have been key to each victory or loss. Nevertheless, LET'S GO PHINS!

lets compare the main stats here for these two teams for a second

ATL Points For: 175 Points Against: 133

N.O. Points For: 125 Points Against: 222

Please do not compare these two teams...Atl is 1st in their division (barely) and N.O. is last

lol, "lets compare"..."please do not compare" ... you know what i mean

Good game....good win for the Dolphins. I hated to see my Saints lose, but happy for Saban. For those who attended, thanks for your support....Tagliabue has made some positive comments in terms of the Saints staying in N.O. -- but hey, at this point, who else would want them??? LOLOL. Still, we're used to losing, so we'll keep our Saints any way we can get them.

Good luck next week!!
