The incompetence of the front office people of this organization knows no bounds. You trade a player that has been productive, albeit not commensurate with his contract but productive, plus a draft pick for a 5th rd pick. It seems nothing ever changes with this team. :hsmash:

Great trade. Wallace was getting cut anyway so we got value.

As a Rival Fan these trades were great For Fins

You lost a malcontent at WR and replaced his skill set exactly with a younger cheaper option.

You lost two bloated contracts in trades as well. Great Trades

He had to go IF we could replace him.
We did and therefore making him expendable.
Dumped that horribly overpaid salary of his to boot.
And got younger n possibly better in the process.
Ireland's trash is now all gone. Had to be done!

Woops. This thread is not going as planned.

Big Baby. Money gone. They were planning this for a long while now.

I mean, RT practiced with our WR's and where was Wallace? He was already gone. We just need to get rid of his salary and replace him with something cheaper. Job done well IMO.

Could it be better? Of course. We are getting rid of his salary. The only way this becomes an issue is if we screw up the draft.

What a difference a day makes. We got rid of 2 of the most expensive players. Wallace who quit on the team. Ellerbe who wasn't worth a s%#$*. Picked up a young and comer and a pick. Also, I like the contract Cameron got. I like what this front office is doing. I hope we can land a solid guard. We are setting ourselves up nicely for BPA in the draft.

Sigh, someone else who just doesn't understand. If you were the owner of this team would you continue to pay him? If you were the GM or the head coach would you put your job on the line for him? The answer to both of those questions is no. Take the mid-round pick, get the cap space, & save major cap space in the future. This was a great move.
