ok guys I believe we are looking at this the wrong way. I mean we get the idea but some are just missing the understanding that some of us are trying to put out there so i lets look at it this another way.
most of us had the idea of coming out of the season with an 8-8 or 9-7 record. now going with what we thought along with the analysts projected what would they/we think if we told them that penny, fergusson, allen, brown all went down, and the all purpose cobbs, went down.
especially when concidering: henne wasn't projected to get substantial time (as per parcells design) until late in the season, there was no proven depth behind allen or fergusson, and Brown was the single largest portion of our offense.
given that info before the season started, you'd be projecting a four/ five win season.
I know we could be better, but we're doing better than what projections would be.
