Q: I heard that Jamie Nails could be a possible starter at guard. Is that true? If so, is it because he is playing that great or is the offensive line so weak that a player who is normally a backup has a chance to start? Steven Fernandez
A: Nails started all 16 games for Buffalo in 2000 but he got way too heavy (390 pounds) in the 2001 offseason and was cut in last year's training camp with the Dolphins. Nails has since gotten his act together and now weighs 335 pounds. He is a run-blocking force who is a legitimate contender to start because of his ability.
