New QB suggestion Timmy Chang

NCAA passing leader - The Dan Marino record -yards leader but in the NCAA - nobody threw for more yards. Quick release and effortless.

Lets Get him-

Just kidding - even though he is the Yards king - he was just released by Detroit and Arizona a couple of weeks ago. Not sure he will ever make it in NFL but certainly alot more experience than we have on our roster.

He is a gun slinger!!
 
But more game experience than Feeley! he had what 5 college starts?
 
well i find it funny that the qb who threw for the most passing yards in college and the wr with most receiving yards or something like that...Taylor Stubblefield

isn't on a football team

Maybe we should get you to QB then! NCAA Yards leader is nothing to sneeze at, if so then Dan Marinos records also mean nothing.
 
I know he was on Detroit, did they cut him? If detroit cut him hes not the answer. An undrafted rookie isnt going to be much of an improvement from Gus Frerotte, or AJ Feeley. Gus is our man this season. Kickoff is 8 days away, and we aren't going to bring in anymore quarterbacks. The cards we have are Gus Frerotte/ AJ Feeley / Sage Rosenfels. Sure, we can talk about cleo lemon and timmy chang, but aren't these topics sort of irrelevant to the dolphins. I think all of us know inside ourselves that we are not going to bring in another QB this season. The only exception is if AJ Feeley gets cut. Frerrote, nor Rosenfels will get cut.

Exactly. His college records mean nothing.

Well if yards were that big a deal, all of Texas Tech's QB's would be starting in the NFL

I've said it before..............even though Timmy Chang was a system QB there were a bunch of over system QB's........WHY DIDN'T THEY POST THOSE SAME NUMBERS IF IT'S THAT EASY......SINCE YOU GUYS SAY ANYONE CAN DO IT.....NO just anyone can't. There is something in that kid and although he hasn't found his team yet....he will. And I say we try him..........IF WE TRIED BROCK BERLIN WHY CAN'T WE TRY CHANG?

Kickoff is in 8 days. Detroit cut him for a reason. We have 3 QBs now, and the only one i could see us cutting would be AJ Feeley, and if we cut aj feeley it would be to bring davey, or couch in, not timmy chang.

And Brock is where now?? Actually I think he took my money at the McDonalds drive-through window tonight. Maybe we could grab Chang and put him on the practice squad.

Exactly my thoughts, nobody has given him a shot, he is extremely acurate, with a fast release. He can throw 50 yards strikes with very little effort. He made nobody recievers look really good.

I would like to see him at least on the practice squad.
