About 90% of us here on Finheaven including myself made fun of the Dolphins for striking out on some GMs that were out there at the time we got rid of Ireland. We also made fun of the whole Ross/Tannenbaum/Hickey/Aponte mix... I think we still have to get rid of Philbin but I'm curious to know what people think now about our front office.

Well...of the other potential GMs...two are out of work, and then you have Farmer in Cleveland and the other is in Tampa and has dumped everyone they signed last year....all of them...

Things seem different, very aggressive, nice names, but we still need more time. I want to see how the draft goes, plus how they fill holes through the rest of free agency.

I do like this new combo of people and like you said we just need to get rid of Failbin.

Hickey is the only one worth a darn, and he will be forced out by Tannenjet...

Hickey did great in the draft last year...not so much in free agency.

I think Tannenbaum has been critical to the free agency moves we have made so far......Suh and Jordan.

So far...and its early....and I do reserve the right to change my opinion...I like the dynamic Tannenbaum has brought to the group.

i dont follow GMs and office folk as much as many do here, so i am not as knowledgeable with it. but Ireland no doubt had to go.... I knew that, I couldnt take him any longer.

the office guys now seem to be doing a fine job, as long as they have their vision, and they work it together... i am happy. they have obviously made some good aggressive moves this FA period already, but even more importanatly are making the internal moves they needed to make as well.

I like Hickey. Regarding TB i have a Jets fan at work telling me how bad he was. After reading all of the evidence about his days with the Jets I felt much better. I like what I see & absolutely love & think it is crucial to have one guy running the whole show...meaning football operations.

Thumbs up!

Got a good feeling for once...if only we could lose Philbin ...

these moves have Tannenbaum written all over them

MT did a good job here, don't let Jet fans tell you otherwise.

I like Hickey....he did a good job last year and appears to be doing a great job this year.

Not sure about the workload of Tannebaum vs. Hickey.....but could care less. The end result is what I look at. Currently, Hickey is our GM and I'm giving him an "A" grade this week. Sign Clay and it moves to an "A+".

They are getting things done for sure. I'll be rooting for Philbin to join in on the success this year as well. The stage is set, including 3 years experience and turn-over time. The front office is delivering the goods, so it's time to kick some ^&*(!

I just want to restate my statement above, following this great trade that just occurred!!! well done!!!
