Watching the Colts/Titans game. I know they want to protect the QB, but this is ridiculous.

The QB is a threat to the defense. Why should he get more protection than any other offensive player?

Brady is leaning on this new rule to extend drives. It's ridiculous! (Did you all see the Brady fist pump after Suggs tried to avoid Brady and touched him). I was dry heaving after that play.

This is football not two hand touch. Older generations are rolling their eyes.

You want to stop getting your QB hurt, stop dropping him back to pass. Run the ball. This is ruining the game.

yep.. all because of brady.. what about when palmer was hit like that and got hurt.. just because there golden boy got hurt..lol its not fair to defensive players..

yea its really not fair to the defense, your not allowed to touch the QB

safeties cant even lay big hits on guys...they have to gently knock them over.

I'm telling ya, we need a worldwide boycott week. It's that serious.

They are protecting the QB's for marketing reasons. It's all about money so

we need to to kick em in the nuts and have everyone in the world boycott the NFL for one week.

It because of dollars and cents.. and thats it! The less money a position brings in for the NFL, the less they care about contact. The more money that is brought in, the more they care about contact

its actually pathetic. Its gettin to the point where they might as well just take the helmets and shoulder pads off and strap flags to their waists.

You watch videos of old school football players, these guys are wearin leather caps with no facemask and minimal pads. Guys were gettin annihalated, with LEATHER CAPS. Now theres helmets that are customly fit to your head and you have all this padding and your not allowed to tackle.

It is pretty bad. You can barly touch a QB anymore. Brady last week against the Ravens was bull____ if I have ever seen it.

This you have to expect as the NFL is played much bigger and faster than it was back in the day, so in terms of the padding, im ok with it, its the contact rules that hinder the game the most.. I mean if you jump up to block a pass and your hand comes down and accidentally hits the side of the QB helmet it a 15 yard penalty... now thats god damn pathetic!

- Great point. You know that's gonna happen. I mean Suggs was trying to Avoid Brady and they still gave it to him.

George Carlin has the solution though.

What you do is, you take a guy (Lineman or back or receiver and you beat the quarterback with him. That way, it's the QB's own teamate who's actually "contacting" the player.

The Rule really only applies to Brady and Manning for the most part, any other QB you don't see those kind of hits called, NFL needs to protect their cash cows, basicly boils down to that.

Yeah it's getting kind of bad. It's funny how Wilfork dives and J.P. Losmans legs a couple of years ago and isn't flagged or anything but Tom Brady gets grazed and he's given 15 yards?
