I remember when Houston beat us for the opening game a few year's back...I think Wanny was the coach....we just gave that game away....we seem to always have problems with Houston. :shakeno: I kind of wish we had kept Sage Rosenfels.

Yep, I remember that too. Wanny was shaking his head at the end. I think that was there the 2nd season opener.

What is up with having to play at Houston every year?

This is a strange quirk in the system and I am thrilled by it. This'll be the 3rd year in a row I get to drive (4 hours) to see my beloved Fins........only this year we are gonna win.

The schedule is based on rotating divisions in both AFC and NFC, then teams that finished as good or BAD as you did...Next year we play every last place team in the AFC the NFC west and the AFC West

Last year it was supposed to be released on April 5 but it was pushed back for some reason I don't recall. So expect to see in the first week in April.

They want to add a 17th game. Not sure if they can do it in time for THIS year. But maybe next year they will. NFL going INTERNATIONAL baby. Every team to play 1 INTERNATIONAL game every year

That looks like a very favorable slate of opponents. You never know what teams are going to be good at this stage of the year, but we know where the teams are located. If I am thinking about time zones right, that's no games in the Pacific, one game in the Mountain time zone, and 4 teams flying into Miami from the west coast for games.

Unlike last year with the "home" game in England, the travel aspect is a HUGE plus for Miami in 2008.

I wouldn't expect that to happen for a few years though. Is it a good idea? Ehh I have a mixed feelings on it. Guess we'll see how it goes.

Schedules ALWAYS get released in the first week of April...so keep that in mind.
