Dolphin Apologist - I'm really sorry!!
I have always LOVED our logo. And my guess is that no one thought the logo was meek during the '72 season, or when we had the Killer B's, or when Dan Marino was bringing us back from behind 1,032 times. And when they updated it in '97 (or was it '96?), it made it look even cooler - sort of giving it a small mean streak, if you will.
I always thought our uniforms were in the top five in the league, if not better - and I'm not just saying that because I'm a fan! I mean, just look at all the NFL stuff you see people wearing. The Dolphins stuff almost always looks great! And this is in no small part due to the logo!
The NY Slimes is becoming more irrelavent by the day. It's a homer story, and the dude who wrote it probably grew up idolizing Joe Namath or something. Take this stuff w/ a grain of salt!
