:up:Wow, who's to say what great things will happen for our Phins this year. The staff is totally revamped, we have the top pick in the draft, and, my favorite, Finheaven is back. What a great season we have to look forward to, I hope you guys feel the same. Will we draft LSU's Dorsey, or another qb? Will Jason Taylor and Zach Thomas stay? Will we FINALLY get some solidarity in our game, or just go season to season hoping for the best? Please discuss. we aren't taking Long #1 overall. That is insane. If we keep the #1 pick we take a QB.

If we can trade down then Long becomes an option

I agree that if we keep the #1 pick that Long (DE) seems to fit the team the best. Why would they take Dorsey at #1 if he is not a fit for the 3-4 [not that I know that to be true, I am just saying]? I think the other big possibility is Long (OT), but Parcells seems to have more of a penchant for taking OL later.

The key is that we need the best player that we can plug in for the next 7 years. To me right now, that seems like Long (DE).

We can trade down a few spots and still probably get Jake Long @ the 4 or 5 spot imo. If we're picking @ #1 which QB do you see us getting, Mike? Is it a nobrainer for Matt Ryan or could it be someone else. Mike, what do you think about McFadden?

I don't think we will take Jake Long, OT is pretty deep in this draft and Long isn't that much better than the next few guys. If we go QB, I think for sure it'd be Matt Ryan, unless some other QB has a tremendous combine and pro day.
