NEW Wildcat!

All I see is DISASTER.

Why is Hartline being triple teamed?

Pay attention he is the next Jordie Nelson!

We talkin ancient history or recent history?

Well since he said that Miami couldn't pay players and win, I'm assuming we're talking recently since we kicked the **** out of everyone when we paid players in the 1980's.

We were kicking people's teeth in so bad back then that those ***** Gators decided they didn't want to play us anymore.

New WC wrinkle...

Throw 30+ yards deep to Tannehill. Once he makes the catch, he immediately turns and heaves a lateral all the way back behind the LOS, where Reggie Bush is waiting back for the ball. Everyone else will be down field. Bush can then utilize his open field moves and score a TD. Profit.
I wouldn't be in favor of the Wildcat but in the Shula days they did do a direct snap to a back... sweep... and pass to QB Woodley out of the spread. I wouldn't do it regularly but Tannehill as a real receiver could make this a big play.

seriously? you want to throw the ball to your franchise qb that we waited fifteen years to get, cmon no thanks

Now that we have Tannehill, he was also a WR as well. Just imagine if he lines up with WR with Daniel Thomas, who use to be a QB, to take the snap with Reggie coming off the edge of course. Teams will have to keep an eye on Tannehill instead of just blitzing the corners. Thoughts?

I hope this is the final word on this.

The use of the Wildcat by the Miami Dolphins was the act of a desperate team. We are no longer a desperate team.

Even Arkansas stopped using it after they got a decent QB. They started running it because they had two very good running backs and no real QB.

We no longer have two very good running backs and we now have at least a couple of good QBs.

From now on, every player on the Dolphins has to be able to play any given position on any given play. They'll never know what hit 'em-- direct snap to Long playing RB, lateral to Dansby playing FB, hands off to Tanneyhill on the reverse, who throws across the field to Starks playing WR, who picks up a block from Fields (playing TE) to spring him for a TOUCHDOWN! Six straight Super Bowls, guaranteed!

To me the word WILDCAT alone makes my stomach churn. May it be forever banned on FH. :puke:

I'm with you, I will never type wildcat again unless I'm on Ganggreen.com harassing jets fans about there new OC...Wow are they in for a rude awakening. Tony's clock management alone is just disgusting. What a garbage desperation offensive formation.

Hes like a cheetah after a few lines of blow.

That's the first WR discussion this year that's made any sense, even though its only about Hartline drawing triple coverage & nothing about the rest.

Ave WRs, ave QBs, sub-ave blocking, new coach, new OC, new scheme ... and folks are talking up our Receiver Corps (or maybe Corpse) ... whaaaaat??? ... but cheetah on blow, NOW we're talkin!!
