lol, well to be fair, it must be very exciting and anxious on draft day especially for people not selected(or assumed to be selected) on day 1.

Updating a previous report, California QB Nate Longshore will be going to a tryout with the Miami Dolphins instead of the Cincinnati Bengals.
All I know is his freshman year they really hyped this kid. Then he had a bad game against UT and everything fell apart for him. Seems as though he lost his confidence.

andrew gardener. i saw a pic of him last sunday on the front sports page of my NYTimes in an article talking about how certain injuries shorten pro careers. his torn labrum (shoulder) was cited as most likely to detract from a linesman effectiveness. just so ya know.

The article doesn't really go too in depth on O-Lineman and torn labrums, mainly just how torn ligaments can hinder a player on the defensive side of the ball, especially considering alot of your job on defense is "Read and React" as opposed to already knowing what to do.

I honestly don't see his injury being too serious. But you never know. The potential far outweighs the injury, being he was selected in the 6th round, especially considering he was a projected 1st day pick before the injury. If this injury isnt that serious, as I expect it isn't, he will be our steal of the draft, and will be battling Vernon Carey for the starting spot at RT before long.
