Good morning my fellow Phins fans: :dolphins:

It's supplemental draft day in the NFL!!!! And as always, I was making my rounds thru the NFL News and Rumor sites....

And I came across a nice article featuring Channing Crowder. The article is from an obscure newspaper called The Macon Telegraph. Enjoy!!!

It's good honest stuff from Crowder...

"I heard pro bowl expectations in all the magazines, and I don't know," said Crowder, as kids lined up around him. "Everyone wants to make 300 tackles and go to Hawaii, but I just want to win the Super Bowl. That ring is bigger than anything. (Pro Bowl) wouldn't be a bad trip though."

"They'll be like, 'OK, I'll look for you," and I tell them the same thing, 'I am the guy who runs around and acts crazy even if I don't do anything.' If I make a tackle or someone else makes a tackle, I'm running around going crazy.

Its a bit too early in his career to make a comparison. But IMO he has tremendous talent and is well on his way to being a pro-bowler. We'll see how he fairs in his sophmore season.....
 
Channing is a NUT! He still has that kid mentality; everything is fun to him. I absolutely love his attitude.

I know its early, thats why I said "could".
He's got talent, he's emotional, and he's crazy. We'll see in the near future if he's a leader and can be feared like Mr. Seau.
 
Sounds like a down to earth kinda guy. I'm glad he's happy in miami.
 
He plays just like I did... He is a crazy mother ****** on the field. Its what I love about him! :evil:

Agreed, but he IS downright crazy. According to a friend that goes to UF, that knows a lot about him, the man wrestles wild boars for God's sake. (This could be urban legend, or common knowledge -- I don't know).
 
I love Crowder.. Great energy, and seems like a great guy in general..

As for the crazy thing....

Yea, Crowders got skills. I had the pleasure of meeting his mother and some other family members of his when thet came to play the bucs. She even came out to the club where I work (whiskey park) and hung out and took pics with my family. She even went so far as to take my fitted fins cap back with her and got more sig's on it. All around good people!!! Man and her son is BALLIN!!!
