Wilson wasn't bad in college, thought he'd develop more with pro coaching. Was injured and missed a year, hopefully Miami can get him to play at a higher level?

I guess Grier has more confidence in Doaks than the previous coaches had. Since Doaks spent the past season on the practice squad while they were constantly bringing in free agent RB’s in an attempt to upgrade the RB position.

Surprised Wilson didn’t end up a better NFL player. I doubt everyone else has been wrong on him, but I thought highly of him coming out. Maybe just too slow.
 
Not to get into conspiracy theories here but if McDaniel is hired, Fins are going to need a capable fullback... 9ers have Juszczyk in that role who's 6'1" 235... Gerrid Doaks is 6' 230 and said blocking was one of his better strength when they picked him.

That's a good point. Doaks is kind of built like a FB and I think he might be much more effective from that position IF he can run block at all.
 
I never understood not playing Doaks or Hunter Long. I hope Grier and the new HC can utilize them.

Either Mia has good DB coaches and Iggy sucks, or, poor DB coaches and Iggy and Wilson could improve with good coaching. In either case, DB is a position that requires mental quickness and analytics - a reason many DBs fail

My view is Iggy probably sucks. Because the defensive coaches did a good job and especially the DB coach, since the defensive backs were the strength of the entire team.
