Williams Can't Avoid Traffic Tickets
Ricky Williams received several traffic tickets on Tuesday for having an expired tag and driving without a driver's license and proof of insurance. He was driving home from mini-camp at the time. Police said that he was "acting incoherently" as he wasn't carrying any identification and the tag on his vehicle was not registered to his vehicle. The police released Williams with the traffic tickets.

Green's Switch
Defensive back Ray Green will make a switch to cornerback. Green has spent the last eight months learning the techniques of the system. Miami's nickel package coach Bill Lewis noted that Green's size, " gives him a chance to be physical against the bigger receivers."

Injury report

Tight end Alonzo Mayes (ankle) and wide receiver Albert Johnson (knee) didn’t participate in practices because of injury. Mayes, who is competing with Jed Weaver for a starting spot, won’t practice this week…Wide receiver Joey Getherall is expected to begin the season on the reserve/non-football injury after suffering a serious foot injury in NFL Europe

Chambers caught two touchdown passes during the workouts and showed glimpses of his standout play last year. Chambers said he isn’t running at full-speed yet, but his conditioning is pretty good. He also noted he’s a little soft on his route running, which is something he plans to improve on.
