Hey guys dont know what this means but i just saw on espn that miami has contacted drew rosenhause and are talking to him about Anquan Boldin coming to miami. make of it what you will, but id welcome Boldin. maybe thats why we cut kircus. who knows

interesting... if it happens, better not be any more than a 2nd.

Interesting. Thanks for the tip. IF we would trade for him, I bet we would have to give up a 2nd round pick and likely a 4th round pick.

could this be another big move by parcells? i fing hope so. do you guys realize how much this would open the passing game. wooo hooo:hi5::up:

you don't think his value is higher than a 2nd and a 4th around the league??? somebody will give up a mid to late #1 for that guy imo plus another pick.

I took Boldin as my first WR pick in my fantasy league, so I just hope he plays and doesn't hold out. It sounds like he and Whisenhunt aren't seeing eye to eye, and he wants Fitzgerald type money. Maybe we could offer them the 2nd rounder we got for JT and a backup scrub? I would do that for Boldin. :woot:

Well his big deal is that he wants a new contract, he doesn't have any plans to hold out or anything but he's just quite angry that the Cardinals will not give him more money when he "out performs his contract". Especially since in his opinion he has done everything on and off the field to deserve a pay raise such as recruit players to come and make the team better. He signed a contract last year for less money to help the team get players and now he's mad that he isn't making fair market value anymore. He feels the Cardinals aren't taking care of him and now he wants out.

He said the ideal situation is for him to be "traded" but he hasn't thought about where. He said he wants to go to a PLAYOFF contender, who has a chance at winning a Super Bowl.

Patrick mentions Philadelphia he says "well they are a contender".

essentially trading a 33 year old Taylor for a 27 year old Boldin.. Not a bad trade if you look at it that way.. (Although we got an additional 6th, not 4th for Taylor)

This would be HUGE. You gotta believe that having Pennington here increases our marketability for WR's.

Imagine how good this would go with the new focus on running & Pennington's proficiency with play action pass...

5 years $40 mil $20 mil guaranteed to get him extended. great player though. tough as nails. all out effort. a perfect fit for parcells.

i'd have that jersey in a nano second. lol
