Cowboys DL coach Paul Pasqualoni is expected to be named Dolphins defensive coordinator, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

It's unclear when the hire will take place. Cowboys DBs coach Todd Bowles is also expected to head to South Beach to become assistant head coach/defense. The Cowboys are pursuing Hall of Fame offensive line coach Hudson Houck to replace Tony Sparano. Houck coached in Dallas between 1993-2001.

WTF HUDSON WAS ON THIS TEAM A FEW DAYS AGO!

I mean I welcome him back with open arms, but why let him go test the waters even?

I like the move as he IS a great line coach and we saw much improvement so keeping him would be a nice thing for the players...

Gah! What's with Dallas taking all our coaches!? Might as well put a Dolphin on their helmets! :D

Hudson Houck is in the hall of fame?

Do you guys think Paul Pasqualoni will make a good dc? I don't know much about him other than he was a head coach at Syracuse for awhile.

Maybe HH will talk the Cowboys into trading for Anthony Alabi and "Glass" Joe Toledo.

Pasqualoni was very successful overall when taking over for Dick MacPherson (?) who left to coach the Patriots I believe years ago. He had some losing seasons and missed out on getting a few good players to help the program at Syracuse, I remember Mike Hart being one of them (who went to Michigan).
If he is out new Defensive Coordinator..... I'm not sure what to think of him? I guess we just have to trust Parcells on this one?

Can we just bring in Rex Ryan, a guy that knows the 46, 3-4, 4-3 very well. I would hate to strictly go 3-4. I also like the way the ravens D play with emotion for him.

Rex would look great on Miami's sideline but honestly think that he'll end up coaching the Ravens before it's all said in done. If the spots fill up and he's available the Fins have to make him DC.

Hudson took a few shots at some people here on the way out. He said he's tired and burnt out and if he goes anywhere he wants already established probowlers there. I say : See Ya!!!!!
