I agree that he was helped by Miami's defense, but considering who your team will have at QB this year, your team might have problems. .

Say all you want about the QBs Miami has, at least they have experience, and can handle starting a game. AJ almost single handedly beat your team, before he started throwing all those INTs, but if he had had a running game (Like he will this year), it would have been a different story.

Your team is the one that better be a bit scared of Fiedler, not us.

AJ had put up good nos. against us when the team was still eating chicken wings. The bills had the best 2nd half D in the league. When they decided to turn it on, they expossed AJ for what he is, a 3rd string qb.

Just so you know, I am more worried about the Jet's D than I am their O. Then again, I would be more worried of the jet's O than I am about the fins' O.

Why? B/c I speak te truth? Feeley is not good, Frerrotte is not good, Fiedler is not great but he's ok and won alot of games for you. You cna give the company line about how it was the D and all that but the bottom line is the Dolphins record was MUCH better when he played than when someone else was the QB. Why was that?

To early to tell. Fiedler had 4 or 5 years to make an impact. Feeley had, what? 10 games, maybe? It will be interesting to see if Feeley makes any strides this yards.

I'm not bashing Fiedler, because I know he played the best to his abilities every game. Maybe the system failed him, then again; maybe what you see is actually what you get, but we have QBs that fit our new system better this year, which are strong armed QBs. Fiedler would fail in our new system becasue he has a very weak arm. Your offense is the WCO, which doesn't require a strong arm; but it does require quick decision making and accuracy, and those are two weaknesses of Fiedler (especially the accuracy department). He throws behind the WRs way too much, and if he doesn't throw behind them, he is throwing the ball too high leaving his receivers vulnerable to injury. Your receivers are short, expect a lot of incompletes if he is throwing the ball. You don't have the type of receivers who can bring the ball down like Chambers, McMichael, or like Gasden had to do with Fiedlers oft-errant throws. And forget about the deep ball, because your receivers are way to fast, they will have to come back for every ball and fight for the reception. Just pray that Pennington can stay healthy because he is more accurate than Fiedler, but than again, Pennington's accuracy may be off too, with his surgery.

Buddy...Fiedler played about 6 games last year. Couldn't win one. Reeked it up and got benched..Won alot of games in the past did we?? -Definately wasnt because of Fiedler! That's right! Our D won most of those games, not Fiedler. Last year, we had unexperienced offensive lineman, blocking for no one in particular cause Ricky had abandoned us, Wanny had no clue as to what was happening, lots of injuries to our Defensive line...First year for Feeley..All these things were what contributed to our first losing season in over a decade-and only our 4th or 5th losing season in Dolphins history. When Fiedler was our QB, all you Jet fans would do is come on here and crack on him and talk about how he's gonna blow it for us. Now just cause he's wearing a waaaay uglier uniform and lives in the toilet of the u.s, you think he's gonna be any different for you and lead you into the playoffs?? Miss Penington aint gonna last a whole season-that's for SURE. Just shut your scum New York Mouth and wait for Fiedler to once again complete passes to some Dolphins only they'll be going the other way for pick 6. Enjoy the Keebler Elf.

I wrote that you guys will have more problems beating Fiedler then us, and that is the reason.

Yea, the Bill's defense decided to allow a hurting AJ to score muti TDS on them with no running game, very little blocking, and only two reciever and a TE for an offense. Wow, what good sports of them to let that 3rd string QB to shread their defense apart for almost a half....they really are good sports.

Just so you know, I am more worried about the Jet's D than I am their O. Then again, I would be more worried of the jet's O than I am about the fins' O.

This is pretty much to mr nyjunc. First let me say, that I am a homer, but I tend to think that I have enough brain to say things in an unbiased way when I compare teams. Fiedler has burned us once, when with the jags, and that game was a complete atrocity, so I don't know if you can count it. You have no examples, or means to say that Fiedler has been our best QB. Compared to whom?? Dan Marino?? Because he was the last starting QB that we have had here since the Fiedler Error began. Don't even say Huard, cause that's crap. Since Big ears has been the starter there has never been a real attempt at an upgrade. Wanny was his daddy, and I don't know if you have any kids, but would you really try to replace your son if he sucked and he was the QB on your team? Well regardless of what you think, that was the relationship between them. So yea Fiedler was the best QB we had, but there was nothing there to compare to. If you don't agree, I am here for the rebuttal. Justasportsfan, I have hated your team since the days when Bryan Cox was flipping you guys the finger, and Thurman Thomas was running around our D like a game of tag in a preschool playground. But..... I have to say that your team did impress the crap out of me last year, and the D you were talking about did put some teams on their arse all of the second half of the year. Mcgahee is the funk man, and he's going to be good for allot of years, so enjoy it. You can never discount the Patsies, but the Bills is who I think will be right there at the end of the year. Jay won the division and made the playoffs w/ Lamar Smith being the most talented guy on O, he missed the playoffs w/ the all-pro RB in '02 and the reason they didn't make the playoffs was b/c Jay was HURT and missed a bunch of games.

Feeley was a 3rd string QB in Philly behind Koy Detmer, that should tell you something.

See that next playoff game against the Raiders and the ints he threw.
See the last Game against the Pats Epecially the 4th qtr, that was the year we lost and allowed you guys to sneak in....
The reason AJ was third string was b/c Koy Detmer was/is Akers holder there is no doubt up here that AJ was MUCH better than Koy *not a AJ lover*

The WCO is totally different from Norv's system. Fiedler can't throw deep but he should be able to make those 5-10 yds in the WCO.

The key to Jay being effective is, Do not get behind big, whereas you HAVE to DEPEND on his arm to get big chunks yards when the D knows your passing; and Variation: if you can run effectively and mix up the run and pass to keep teams somewhat guessing he can be somewhat effective. If the Jets get caught up in a windy weather shootout Jay has NO CHANCE.....

It's not about the bills and jets. It's about finfans making fun of a former fin qb who could come back and beat your team. You guys say that AJ was horrible because he was in a bad system w/ a bad coaching staff. The same thing can be said about Jay and Wanny's offensive mind.

Fiedler had RW and a respected offensive mind in Turner, and continually came up short when it mattered most. AJ had no RW, and his OC was a guy nobody respected or feared. The evaluation of Fiedler is complete, i.e. he'll never take anybody anywhere. As for AJ, the story has yet to be told.

After taking the lead, we all knew that we would come back and beat the fins . I mean the team was obviously overconfident against your team in the first qtr. When they finally decided to play, AJ folded and was brought back down to earth.
AJ is nothing but a back-up at best. He hasn't even achieved anything compared to Fiedler (as bad as Fiedler was).

Doesn't it mean anything to Dolphins fans when our two biggest rivals fans come on and say Feidler was a pretty decent QB? It amazes me how blind people are to the fact that we won when Jay was here. I still think we would be better off with Jay than either QB on the roster now.

Jay sucked but AJ had no help...they played for the same team guys cmon. Jay actually had LESS talent around him than AJ last year.

Jay had to be the next Marino while AJ just has to be the next Feidler. Thats the only difference between fans loving him and hating him.

how much have you watched Fiedler play? those 5-10yd passes almost always required the receiver to stop, jump, or dive to catch the ball.. if its catchable at all. Very rarely will Fiedlers passes result in any YAC, which is a necessity in the WCO.

No, Jets fans say Fiedler is a decent QB now because he is a Jet, and with Pennington having the toughness of an 8 year old, they know Fiedler will be on the field at some point.
