^^ LOL.

Maybe T-Buck or Bobby Taylor?

Why wouldnt they just announce it though?

I immediately thought of those 2, but I dont think Saban would sign a guy like that to play dime, especially considering that neither of them has any idea of how the defense is run

Right cause teams always bring in no names around the time of final cuts.

Could be. But that was with Wanny/Spielman, who obviously don't know how to run an NFL franchise.

I wonder who the new player could be...

Wouldnt they have to send out a press release if we signed someone?

P.S. Its a shame to see Mann cut. Im shocked that Cook is gone as well. Who could have stolen his spot at G with Middleton gone as well??

I've been thinking he's a goner for about two weeks now. The main reason being that he was listed as the 3rd team LT a few weeks ago. When a depth guy moves all over the line like that, it usually spells doom. Especially when he spent the previous year as a backup on an OL that was almost as bad as ours.

Lamont "Frightful" Brightful. He was recently released from the Giants

Well, the Eagles have looked into acquiring RB Lamar Gordon. We have a RB named Bruce Perry from Maryland who has looked really good in preseason but is a small, scatback guy in the mold of Westbrook and Moats. He wears #35. Maybe a trade of Perry for Gordon? Doubtful since the trade would probably have to have been announced for Perry to be practicing with you guys.

Its probably a player who changed his number. I think if they arent expected to make the team they cant choose a number (or have to take a lower one or something like that). Maybe its someone who learned he made the team and wanted to switch numbers? I could be wrong, just a guess. My only basis for saying this is I know guys with real low numbers in camp are usually the ones who are third and fourth stringers.

My guess is that it's Lance Schulters. My reasoning is that he just doesn't look right wearing 47.

But NOBODY was 35- Lance could have had that number when he first got here.

And 47 is a standard number for a safety- John Lynch, for example.
