Dolphins quarterback Sage Rosenfels may receive his second start of the season Saturday against Tennessee.

Dolphins coach Nick Saban said Monday that Gus Frerotte will be evaluated "day to day" after aggravating a finger injury in last Sunday's 24-20 home victory over the New York Jets.

Saban said there were currently no plans to give third-string quarterback Cleo Lemon any snaps before season's end.

Saban said Brown suffered ankle and knee injuries against New York while Crowder missed the second half with a bruised shoulder. "He has a chance to play in this game … I don't think playing with a harness would help. Probably a pad would help more in this particular case."

Saban is optimistic nose tackle Keith Traylor (knee) will return to the starting lineup after a three-game absence.

It's good to hear that Channing Chowder is gonna be alright.:dolphins:

Nice to hear that Crowder has a chance to still play. If Rosenfels does start, his level better not even come close to what it was his first start this year.

heh all I know is on that int... Gus threw off the wrong foot while being pulled backwards.. and it was a bullet on the money. Looked like something Brett Farve does lol

Interestng news. It will be nice to see Sage get another shot at starting a game. This time at home. I will be watching to see how he does, if he gets the start. So Crowder does not have a serious injury. That's good news. If he could play this week, it must be a minor injury. No need to make it worse. I would expect him to get minimal time, if any this week. As far as Ronnie goes, it sounds like he got some bumps and bruises. He needs to have big games these last two, if he wants to get 1000+ yards and stay in the running for offensive rookie of the year. I don't think Saban will limit his playing time against the Titans at all.

I'm glad to see that big Keith Traylor will get some playing time as well. There may not be any upside to giving him some time but when he is in the ball game he takes up blocks which frees up blocks for the linebackers to slip in.

Gus was finally starting to click in the offense and now he gets hurt. It's a shame, these last few weeks he's been great.

Ya know, I am not so sure it was Gus that was the problem. It seemed that all the receivers, especially Chambers were going through the motions of a losing season.

That said, at least Gus wasnt throwing slow balls that were close to being picked off.

Might as well see what Sage can do with a few starts for next season.

I don't really think that Crowder's gonna play and is ok....why risk it now? As for Ronnie, I'm hoping he'll play and Gus's gonna have a hard time trowing it so I think Sage will get the start.

Sage could prove to be our veteran QB for next year if he continues to impress while our rookie develops, but at the same time I would really like to see Cleo Lemon.
