Call me Old School but I dont think we need a change.....sorry franchises with no histories change their uni's all the time...like the Hawks and Nuggets in the NBA, and Tampa Bay, the Falcons, Saints in football......and how can the newspaper say they are tired of our whimpy logo?.....a Dolphin is not a Great White Shark or Killer Whaler and I don't want to see a Dolphin with razor teeth on it. Dolphins are smart, intelligent, compassionate animals....We are not the Miami Sharks or Miami Barricudas....BUT, if we do go with a new logo, then put it on an alternate helmet and wear it with our alternate orange uni's. :)

IMO the only thing that looked good at all was the "D" and "Dolphins" on the side of the helmet. Still i dont think i would like a change in that direction.

On another note, whatever happened to Trick Daddy making a Dolphins song?

BTW I fired off a respectful, but very oppositional email to the Editor in Cheif for that news originization... I suggest anyone else that disagrees with changing the logo do the same. I certainly hope Hizuenga isn't giving this any serious consideration.

can you put the orange arche around the D? These two are catchy. Perhaps fill the D in with a navy blue?

I disagree... I like the fact that the Dolphins' uniforms and same basic layout of out logo have remained the same over the years. It keeps a sense of tradition and continuity... I wouldn't want to have to look at something COMPLETELY different like the Broncos (even though their old ones were ugly.) I guess I sort of agree with that article, that the logo needs a little tweaking to look a little more agressive... but not a complete departure from what it has evolved from over the past.

I will work on something and post an idea of what I mean in a little bit.
