News Times Logo Contest..

I don't really think it's the logo that much..it's our colors.

I'm not saying change the colors just incorporate maybe a a pewter/silver type color and darken up the blue and orange.

Our colors are kinda ***** looking.

PS - I personally like the orange jerseys ;).
 
I don't know, but I don't think the FH logo is appropriate for a team's main logo.

The aqua version doesn't look bad. My only other thought would be a closeup of the face on the helmet, much like appears at the top of the Message Board page.

I'm not advocating changing the logo. I think it's cool. But if you're going to change it, well that's my suggestion as regards the use of the FH logo.

The other thing to consider is the league trend toward iconic, rather than illustrative, logos.

Settle down, lynch mob. There's a difference between having fun playing around with a logo and actually wanting it CHANGED.
 
I love the logo and trhe colors, its tradition, its original.


But my favorite Dolphins logo is this one...

I wonder what that would look like on the helmet (with the traditional aqua and coral scheme that appears in the endzone, of course. That would be an itneresting way to change things up but hang on to tradition. Hmmmm
 
yes they should change the logo, change it back to the original. see my avatar. i don't like the new mean dolphin, the original was a piece of art. the new one looks too basic and lame. why do we need a mean looking dolphin anyway. dolphins are a symbol of intelligence and working together, not some mean meathead mentality. i didn't see the 72 dolphins complaining about the logo looking mean as the no name defense worked together as an intelligent unit to win it all. classic has a certain elegance to it
 
There are logos you don't mess with: The New York Yankees, the Montreal Canadiens, the LA Lakers and the Miami Dolphins.
Tradition cannot be created, it is earned.
 
How about just a "D" on the helmet from the traditional logo pictures in a few post above....
