Newsday: Dolphins worst team in the NFL

I'm not even sure why people post things like this. But, whatever we're the worst team in the league and will go -16 and 32! Blah Blah Blah.....seesh!

LMAO at the thought that there are people that think teams like the Colts, Jaguars, Rams, Vikings, etc. are better than the Dolphins. Miami might not be a great team, but they are more in the 18-24 range on paper than being talked about being the worst team. The team has talent and showed last year when they put it all together they can blow out their opponents. Incorporate a much softer schedule and you can easily see how this team probably is going to win 8 games.

I readily admit that my expectations are rather low this year, but calling the Fins the "worst team in the league" is absolutely ridiculous.

We're going to have a top-10 defense. Our offense will be improved on a gameplan and preparation standpoint, and I think we have a decent mix of players on offense to score some points.

We are better than the:

Raiders
Titans
Rams
Colts
Jaguars
Cardinals
Buccaneers
Redskins
Browns
Vikings

i'm not seeing the colts being the worst team in the league stuff...i think andrew luck is gonna surprise some people with how he fares despite that team in total rebuild...6 wins not out of the question

I also still don't buy into the idea that Buffalo has jumped ahead of Miami. I understand the Bills made some nice offseason moves, but I don't see how they jumped the Dolphins. It isn't like Miami split with them last year or the Bills were close in the two games. Miami BLEW them out both times. Mario Williams was a nice pickup, but Miami is still the overall better team. What happens if Mario, their savior, goes down in training camp? Pretty much back to where they were last season. Fitzpatrick is still their QB and Chan Gailey is still their coach, Mario Williams is not going to cover up those two major flaws.

I also think Miami is going to be better than the Jets.

tennessee was 9-7 last year...despite chris johnson being a ghost for half the year...hard to say we're better off

Teams that do major FA overhauls never seem to do as well as you think on paper. Buffalo is getting way to much credit.

if bufallos got wanny that alone is good for at least 3 losses they should win...guys hot garbage...i have no idea how he has a job coaching pop warner football let alone pros

interesting in hearing who people think are worse than miami...not saying we are the worst just wondering who you guys think are

Even if I don't include the Bills, I would take Miami in a heartbeat over: Washington, Cleveland, St. Louis, Minnesota, Indianapolis, Tampa Bay and Jacksonville. Now, Indy will get turned around with Luck, but it's going to take more than a year. To rate the Dolphins as being a worse team than Jacksonville (who will be starting our leftover garbage at QB in the best case scenario) or Minnesota is just laughable.

The Dolphins are not a good team and should not be considered as such, but Tampa Bay? Washington? Come on, man.

i think ranking us in the 18-24 range is fair...packed in with a bunch of teams somewhere in that range i'd say...but at the same time i have a hard time looking at a team if they played us and saying auto win for miami...i think this team could lose to just about anyone

I agree. Our team will struggle in a lot of games this season, but how can you look at our team's performance last season and believe that we're worse than the Vikings or Jags? You would have to do some insane contortionist logic to try to justify that.

And again, I'm not buying this Bills 'resurgence' one bit. Mario Williams suddenly turns that team from dog**** into a contender? A team that our lousy 'worst in the NFL' Dolphins swept last season? I don't buy it. They still have Ryan Fitzpatrick at QB, Chan Gailey as the coach, and Dave Wannstedt running his clown car defense.

At the same time, there isn't one team I would look at and give an auotmatic loss to either. They showed last year they can take the leagues best teams like the Patriots, Giants and Cowboys right down to the wire. One bounce goes different in those games last season and Miami could have beat those teams.

I hate to say this but I was listening to Sports Radio up here is New England this morning and agree with them that this season will be one of the easiest division titles we've seen for the Patriots. The Bills got better on defense but will be limited by Fitzpatrick and I don;t see the Sparano/Tebow additions making the Jets much, if any, better. We are rebuilding but it wouldn't shock me if our QB ends up being a very distant 2nd in the AFC East this year. They say they can already start talking about whether or not the Pats get a 1st round bye or home field advantage already and skip the division title talk and I agree.

That honor goes to Jacksonville.

Hard to gauge where the Dolphins are at with the scheme changes and how the players fit. They have upgraded the OL and QB (if Garrard stays healthy) and the strength of schedule appears easier so there is no reason to think they can't win 7-8 games.

As for who they are better then only Jacksonville (horrible QBs, no talent), Colts ( bad defense), and Rams (weaker defense) in my opinion. I would say they are even with a handful of teams, Browns, Vikings, Raiders, Bucs and just below teams like the Jets and Bills.
