Newsday: Dolphins worst team in the NFL

We closed out the season at 6-3, better than Cinci's and jets 4-5; we beat teams with a cumulative winning percentage above .400, we've offloaded Sparano and the OL bozo, got rid of Columbo, aded a smart coaching staff with "winner" imprinted on them and lost Marshall but upgraded in almost every other position. We had a competent QB and if he gets beaten out, we've only upgraded that position. Jake was one of the top LTs at 60% healthy; he's now firing on all cylinders. We have one of the best FG kickers in the league and on and on. These azzholes are morons.. or is it: "these morons are azzholes"????

Right now we don't deserve respect. We need to tighten up the chin strap and earn it!!! If predictions meant something then the Jets would have a few Super Bowl wins since Rex arrived. What about the "Dream Team"??? Who cares what some no talent sports writer says about us??? We were the worst team in 08 also and I believe we shocked the world by winning the division. Good QB play will get us to the playoffs this year. The talent on this team is better at every single position then what we had in 08. Coaching will be better this year and I'm confident we will be much better prepared to compete compared to years past.

interesting in hearing who people think are worse than miami...not saying we are the worst just wondering who you guys think are

Brown: Yes they continue to own us head to head, but they will not have the defense Miami has, and will be be counting on mostly Rookies on offense to hopfully become successful. They will also be playing Ravens, Steelers, and Bengals, that is 6 very tough games, while Miami will have the Pats.

Colts: This team was mostly gutted from a team that had the #1 pick this year, this team will need a few years to even be ok.

Jaguars: They have worse problems then Miami at QB, nothing special at receiver or RB, and their defense os worse then Miami.

Raiders: Yup, your right they do have a better QB, but even with all the hatred for the Dolphins receivers, they will not have as consistent a bunch of Receivers as the Dolphins or as good a defense, and I will go even further and say even with a premier RB, they probably will not be as effective on the ground.

Jets: They have no real running threat...Even though their new O-coordinator will expect to run the ball a heck of a lot more then pass, their starting QB will be the lowest rated in the AFC east, their O-line will probably not be better then the Dolphins (At best as good), and they will again have to blitz alot to get pass rush, with new players in the secondary. Also the Tebow fiasco will be just that, it's going to become a huge distraction.

Redskins: They will have a rookie QB to lead them, with a less efficient defense then the Dolphins.

Vikings: Will be going with a 2nd year QB that was very inconsistent last year, their best player on offense will probably miss some games, and they don't have the defense Miami has.

Panthers: No, 1 player (QB or not), In only his 2nd year does not make a teams better. Miami is better all around better on defense, and will probably do enough on offense to win game, the Panthers will be behind by a lot of points each game...good luck to Newton each week.

Bucs: Nothing about the Bucs impress me....I know, nothing about the Dolphins impresses you either, but the Bucs seem to be nose diving more and more each year.

There you have a few Teams, I know you disagree, and Junc will go insane with a 500 word spinned explanation how such a great team like the Jets could be considered less the the Dolphins, but at this time they are, these are my views, and we will see.

NFL is funny like that, you never know who turns out to be for real year-to-year. Even after the first month or so of the season people will be talking about this team or that, but it takes a long time to get through 16 games. We will see.

Right now, we are better than Cleveland, Jacksonville, Minnesota and Indy. That's all, you can make arguements back and forth for a spot or 2.

Seems like that is the opinion of someone who doesn't actually watch many NFL Games.

It appears to be based entirely on public and media perception.

The Dolphin's weren't ranked last in any major statistical category or by wins and losses. They finished above average offensively and defensively didn't they?

It was the first year we had a thousand yard RB and WR, Moore also finished very well statistically compared to other QB's. The defense was pretty good as well. Ross is an easy target and has made the Dolphins an easy target. It is unfortunate but things certainly appear to have improved with him and his propensity to project & BROADCAST inept, cluelessness. :d-day:

I hate to say this but I was listening to Sports Radio up here is New England this morning and agree with them that this season will be one of the easiest division titles we've seen for the Patriots. The Bills got better on defense but will be limited by Fitzpatrick and I don;t see the Sparano/Tebow additions making the Jets much, if any, better. We are rebuilding but it wouldn't shock me if our QB ends up being a very distant 2nd in the AFC East this year. They say they can already start talking about whether or not the Pats get a 1st round bye or home field advantage already and skip the division title talk and I agree.

you listen to felger and mazz??? you hear what felger said about chad johnson blaming the pats for his problems last year???

agreed on the pats rolling easily in the division...looks like a cake walk to me

Pour on the disrespect. New coaching staff, players looking to keep their jobs, decent schedule, this team is set to overachieve.

You can't pencil anyone in as a win, but you also can't pencil in anyone as a loss except NE. The players on our team have always fought hard and I don't expect that to change under Philbin.

We were also considered one of the worst teams going into 2008.

Sometimes, this was D&C. I think they were making fun of Chad Johnson everywhere as I heard Ordway and Holley do it yesterday and D&C today. The same guys who pegged him for a breakout game every week last year.

Look until the team wins it will be scrutinized by the media. Some people believe (agree or not) that with all the turnover and coaching changes that Miami is the worst team in the league. I can tell you one thing, it is easier to compare Miami to the worst teams in the league right now than the best teams in the league.

If they win and start winning constantly the respect will come again, you have to earn it.

holleys lost...ordways pure homer...felger said he was a delusional ***clown...said that ocho had every chance with the pats last year and blew them all...said also that miami is gonna cut him for his tired act also

Only thing for sure, Miami is much more likely to be the worst team in the NFL than be the best team this year.

I don't give a **** what anyone says. The Dolphins are my favorite team and I think they are the best in the league until proven otherwise!

Forgive my spelling. This was sent from my phone.
