Which Dolphin or former Dolphin will be the next to enter the NFL Hall of Fame? Jason Taylor will probably make it, but his stock is dropping with several average seasons at the end of his career watering down his overall body of work. I think Zach Thomas has an outside chance. If Sam Mills is in, Zach has a chance. Chris Carter will eventually go in, but will likely go as an Eagle.

JT is a lock. wont be for a while though as hes still playin obvi. the mark's are up alot but dont see to get in so i doubt them. . . carter will i would imagine surprised he hasnt already.

1) This isnt' MLB players don't go in with "teams." So saying Carter will go as an Eagle isn't how the NFL HOF works.
2) Jason Taylor will be the next to go in

After him it will be a very long while before another goes in.

What about Richmond Webb, he had a nice string of Pro Bowl appearances? And I guess if you count Chris Carter you have to count Junior Seau.

Bob Kuechenberg is looong over due. He is getting the royal screw by the selection committee.

Bob Kuechenberg, then zach, then jt. if zach doesnt make it in its a load of bull****. zach is fourth all time in tackles, and has more tackles than any lb in the hall of fame.

JT will make it, but probably not first ballot. Zach has a chance, but he would have to wait a long while.

As far as current roster, if Big Jake stays healthy, he will be a Hall of Famer.

I will disagree with the general consensus (on this board, at least) and say that JT is far from a lock and if he gets in it won't be on his first ballot. And ZT is not making it in at all.

if john hannah hadn't played at the same time i think kuech would already be in. thomas deserves it for sure but is borderline to make it. taylor is borderline deserving but will probably make it.

Why not ZT? Arguably the second best MLB since 1999.

Hannah was a great player, but so was Kuech. Kuech has the all-pro credentials, the super bowl wins(that Hannah doesn't have), and he snapped the ball to two hall of fame Quarterbacks. He played in playoffs games with broken bones. I don't know what else he could have done. Two 1000 yards rushers in the same season. Someone has a axe to grind with him.

Zach Thomas is my second favorite Dolphin of all time. He's one of my favorite people of all time. He's not a HOF'er. Zach didn't have the ability to change games. He didn't impact games the way a Ray Lewis or a Brian Urlacher do. Tackles is a misleading stat. How many of those tackles were made downfield after a guy already picked up 20 yards? Zach was a good player. He was not an all-time great player. The Hall of Fame is for all-time great players.

Yea I agree . . . Zach was a hell of a MLB, but he was mainly a smart azz tackle machine. He will forever be one of the All time great Dolphin defenders . . . but I don't think he makes the HOF. Would be great if he did though. JT, I mean I just don't know . . . I think the lack of meaningful playoff appearances hurt both of them to be honest. Had they won the Super Bowl in 2002, I think JT would be a lock and Zach would be in the shoes JT is in right now . . . maybe/maybe not.

That being said, I think the next guy is Jake Long as well . . . it is just difficult to get alof of HOF mentions when your team hasn't won anything in 38 years. You have to be an all time great ala Dan Marino to get it done.
