Wondering what people thought about who some of the next Miami Dolphins should be elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame? I believe Kuchenberg has been on the list for a couple years?
I was hoping for some of old favorites...maybe...someday?
- Duper
- Clayton
- Duhe
- Offerdahl
- Webb

Webb might havbe a shot how many pro-bowls did he make ??like 7 or so I think....He was never a hyped player he probably should have been for as well and long as he played.

I think Richmond Webb played a role in the success of Marino. Webb never gave up sacks on marino's blind side and was arguably the best Left Tackle in the league, at least in terms of pass protection, for several years. If we had a crappy left tackle back then ...things would have been tougher on Marino for sure.

Ricky!!!!!!

Good question! I say we petiton the NFL for the "1972 Team" to be enshrined for doing something no other team has ever done!

HA! HA! (could have had a shot if he did not pull that crap)

Unfortunatly Duhe/Offerdahl didnt play long enough and Duper/Clayton.. tho Clayton is worthy of consideration imo they will always be know as "The Marks Brothers" and they wont both go.

Yeah I agree...but in FinHeaven we can always dream! Clayton might have a chance, but it will be years down the road. I think the guy with shortest career to make the HOF was Gale Sayers? I think he played like 7yrs maybe until a knee injury was too much to overcome??

i dont think any of those guys will ever make it.

i predcit the next phin to go to the hall of fame will be JT (providing he stays healthy and keeps his production up).

or probably seau, but he doesnt really count as a true phin. he'd go in as a charger anyways

Jason Taylor will be the next one to go if he continues. But if we go to the 3-4 his role may change. But my best guess would be Taylor.

I agree about JT 2 more healthy years and he is a strong candidate...and he has the notoriety needed.

I agree with Taylor being the next one, as long as he keeps up the sacks....but I also think Z.Thomas....overall play, consistency, a few pro bowls, and tackle totals...

Having listened to many sports writers over the years, it is highly unlikely that any of the players mentioned here will get into the Hall of Fame at this time. Many of them feel that Clayton and Duper success is strictly due to Dan Marino and not because of their abilities as receivers. As if Marino could have amassed such numbers without great receivers. Someone had to catch those passes whistling pass defenders heads. Offerdahl and Duhe has yet to be finalist on the HOF list, thus are not even considered. Richmond Webb appears to have the best chance but his last four or five years in the league have not been up to his lofty standards so I don't think he will make it either, atleast not on the first ballot.

I really hope John Offerdahl would get some consideration. But yes, I guess his career got cut a bit short.

Like eveyone else said I think that Webb has the best chance of any non-active dolphin. I have seen a bunch of people mention JT and not Zach, do you think that JT will simply get in first or that Zach will not get in at all?
