next hc may be a surprise

Gruden or Fisher are excellent choices if they don't demand full control. I don't see a need to get too surprising considering how many obvious, quality choices there are.

rob ryan would work too, cuz i don't see jeff ireland leaving....so that means that would be another dallas guy coming to miami with ireland here...so the streak would continue lol

Lol I would think Rob doesnt want to join this train wreck of a team.

Looks like you want some of what the Jets got eh?

Dont blame you lollll

I will say this, the jets can finish games this year. I hate that Miami is in the gutter under all AFC East teams.

Hiring Ryan would make for great publicity, so yeah I could see Ross doing it.

thatd be hillarious considering you all hate rex

he's the guy i wanted here!!! rex is easy to clown on because he is a rival coach and is fat, wanks to feet and has a lot of sound bites, but i would take him in a heart beat!!

to bad tuna didnt do as well building the dolphins as he did the jets!! [remember, bill parcells called the jets owner and told him to hire rex AFTER interviewing with us].

you always crack on rivals. same with billicheck, i would take that guy in a second! yea, he does have tom brady, but he kicked our arses with matt cassle [who is dogging in kc]. it takes players, but coaching is the main thing. rex is winning with sancheese, and no one, even the most gang green blind homer would put him in bradys catagory.

bill parcells fugged us hard and dry handing you guys rex ryan and keeping his pal sparano who he had to demote once on his cowboys team.

for rob ryan to go to the dolphins theyd prolly have to be the only team pursuing him since the dolphins are unlikely to beat out any other team for him considering there clear lack of talent at the major positions

i would be on board with bringing in ryan. absolutely!

he understands agressive defense but isnt ignorant to a hi powered offense as both his dad and brother all subscribed, strong defense, but SCORE POINTS, not keep it within 6 points and run the whole second half.

i want sparano gone NOW though. we all know where this season is headed. our division rivals are all 3 leaps and bounds ahead of us. i want to get the coach in here now so he can evaluate in game conditions and meetings and have his plan in place at seasons end, not scarambling to figure the team out, get his staff together AND get ready for the draft and f/a on top of it all.

in THIS particualr situation, it makes the MOST sense to end sparano now and get the coach in here. that would leave ryan out as the cowboys wont let him go at this point, not even for an h/c job. not jeruh! no, it wont save the season as we dont have the talent, but, it gives the new coach a VITAL head start.

Anyone see the special on Belichick...'A Football Life'? They showed a great clip of him absolutely reaming Derrick Mason...it was freaking beautiful. Somehow I can't see Sparano doing that.

I don't want Gruden because players tend to begin hating him real soon. His personality is a turn off to NFL players.

Players liking you isn't the sign of a good coach. Gruden is a superbowl winner, and he did it with a (meh team) he's at the top of my wish list.

As an organization that has whiffed on 3 inexperienced NFL head coach choices (Saban, Cam, Sparano), history could influence Ross to try another route for a change.

A coach that has created a winning tradition over a long haul would be wise- someone with a record of stability and consistency in winning.

After a gamble with this f.o., another gamble with an up-n-comer seems irrational.

To get this kind of coach you would have to hire him away from his current gig because if he's like your description he isn't unemployed. Besides the Cowher's and Gruden's.

I don't care if Rob gets off on feet, ankles, or fingers. Bill Belichick probably gets off on wearing women's panties. If he comes in here and gets us a 1st round QB and wins us games, I'd be on board 100%

Adam Shefter said it last year best that Miami's next coach has to be some one sexy because the Dolphins are not only competing in the NFL there also competing with the Miami Heat.
