Next JT will be eligible for the HOF.

I am sure he will be part of the many nominated but I am sure by the time they thin the herd he probably won't make it. Hines Ward, Donovan McNabb, Brian Dawkins and Ladainian Tomlinson are all up as first time eligible HoFs and have a much better shot of making it in over JT sadly.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if it takes JT five or more years to get into the Hall of Fame. Definitely not a first ballot.

He'll get in there eventually. Maybe Zach Thomas will join him one day too.

I think only LT is a sure first ballot. Maybe I'm a homer, but I would put JT up there with the rest of those guys.
 
JT will get his gold jacket but it will take time just like with Greene. JT currently sits in 6th place in sacks but with Peppers, Ware and Allen only a few sacks behind.

The good thing though is no one else is close so when all is said and done he will still be top 10 in terms of career sacks. Add in the DMVP and it only helps. It's just gonna be awhile.
 
if he does get in, it probably wont happen right away

Jt is more first ballot then hines ward and mcnabb. I dont even see mcnabb as a hall of famer. No superbowls and he's like 21st and 28th in all time yards in tds. Very borderline to me. I believe ward is like 15th in yards and 23rd in td's which will probably get him in but if TO doesnt make first ballot then neither is ward. JT and dawkins may be borderline first ballot with 4 all pro's a piece but JT's dpoy should give him the nod over dawkins.
 
No way Dawkins gets in. He had a great and long career but I just dont see him as a HOF safety
 
other than JT the fins have been so bad lately we don't really have anyone else to be considered for a while. I would love to see ZT get in his numbers are the same as Urlachers who will get it but he wont anytime soon.
