Greetings all. I just joined up. Im very excited about the changes. We have a QB that if he can just get those deep throws in stride will make us a contender. A new GM to put the pieces around him is is exciting.
My perspective on the wants is that they are all Gambles (pun intended). A certain set of circumstances can make a genius a fool. All you can do is focus on the body of work and hope that the prospect having had the most success in said body interviews well (chemistry and whatnot).
Just a heads up: dont get attached to a name. You'll merely gripe and moan about the hire later. These next few months will be very exciting and thats about as much as you can wish for in the offseaon. Spew positivity in the blow hole (that just didnt work as well as i thought it would as to a dolphin reference).
We have a team. We were robbed in Baltimore. Our kicker kicked us late in the season when he started the season as Irelands best draft pick (what a statement to even make- farewell). If RT just hits more of those long balls, we wouldve been kings despite Mike Sherman's ineptitude to play to any strengths of our offense. Jesus Christ it was like he saw and said "Wow RT throws the ball with amazing accuracy on the roll out and is a threat to run for 20 as well. Soooo, lets not do that anymore."
Any way, frustrations behind us. A bright future ahead. I thank you all for the wonderful forum. Ive read for a while now and thought it was a good time to finally join.
