Looking forward to replenishing our talent deficient overachievers for next year:
1) need to resign Carey, Bell & Goodman. I like the rest of the gang up for contract renewal if the price is right. If not move on.
2) need to get rid of Wilford, then spend some money on a major play maker @ WR in FreeAgency.
3) the draft:
(a) if Tebow decides to enter we should ditch Beck & go after him.( Tebow would contribute immediately in the wildcat, big time) If not keep Beck. there is no QB issue.
(b) need to go after a Monster Center & another Bruiser Guard.
(c) a Nose Tackle, Defensive End, LineBacker & a Corner Back.
4) hold on to Parcells @ all cost!

two more drafts & free agencies:
We will be in the SuperBowl in 2010.:up:

only way we keep john beck is if he takes a signifigant reduction in pay, i say he is gone and we draft a QB in the late rounds to free up money

tebow wont be coming out, so i say draft pat white to be int he wildcat formation since he pretty much ran that at WVU

and i like spikes or lauranitis with the #25 pick

Why draft a guy like Tebow. We use the wildcat but to specifically draft a qb to run it makes little sense since it will become less of our offense over time. We used the wildcat to compensate for lack of push from our oline.
 
even if we get an upgrade at 'C', i still believe that we will continue to use the wildcat ... just maybe not as much. just think how effective it could have been with good blocking, considering how successful it was with poor blocking. i envision sporadically running the wilcat during a 'no huddle or hurry up offense' so that the defense can't change its personnel.
 
tebow can contribute immediately & big time @ the wild cat
you draft him because he may ultimately beat out Henne @ QB
or in the last hypothesis would be an excellent BU to Henne
Tebow can play wr, do punt returns, whatever
he's a Jack of all trades & King of one
the guy is one of the great football talents to come along in the last 25 years

instead of drafting Pat White, i'd prefer to go with an OL like Canfield to improve our chances of a fielding a solid OL next season.
 
Not sure why people want to cut Beck so bad he will only make about 600,000 and has a year in this system. Now Jason Allen is another story , he is way overpaid for a guy who cannot crack the lineup.
 
lol at all the tebow love.
i just dont see it. he may look above average playing a bunch of students in college but i dont think he will amount to anything in the nfl. and id bet he wont dropping his shoulder into anyone on a qb sneek. he will swallow his pride and a take a slide once he gets hit a few times by the best defenders in the world.
 
no one is talking about cutting Beck that I know of
we have two #2 drafted Qb's very close in talent & physical abilities
if Chad goes down & adventually he will
we'll need the both of them
