Next weeks will game will tell us whether we have a chance at all this year because we will see if our offense is any good at all since we are playing a very bad defense. It will also tell us how good are defense since we are playing a very good offense. Im really curious to see how will we do. None the less, I predict a dolphins victory 27-24 in a see-saw scoring game.

If a good offense is pllaying a bad defense.. i dont think it equates to a proper evaluation to the team.
Now if they were playing a very good defense.. then yes... Id say you were correct.. Just my opinion.

either way I see it as a positive that our O can gain some confidence if they can get it toghether against a bad D. Also doesn't hurt that we have an extra day to "Clean things up"

I think playing the Titians D should have given them a chance to see where they stand O wise in terms of playing a good D.

I can't see Cinci scoring 24 points on our defense. Tenn only scored 10 and they have a much better offense IMO. If their run defense is as porous as it was against the Jets then I see a low scoring game cause Wanny will be VERY conservative and run run run!

all i know is im VERY excited about this game, im excited to see the changes, im excited that feely and gordon will have had a chance to get all the snaps in practice, and im excited that we'll be playing a sunday night game in front of the whole football nation... so im hoping we have a great performance to shut up all these harsh critics...

Unfortunately, the critics will the fact that was Cinci we played well against. Let's have good performances within our own division to earn their respect!

I don't think there D is not as bad as one might think! The Jets did get them pretty good, but they will be better for their home opener.

As with most D's this year, we will have to throw to move the ball. Particullarly in the beggining of the year. Our O line is getting man-handled!

I say don't judge to quickly, no matter the outcome. This team has a long ways to go and we will not know much more after next weeks game then we know now I think everyone thinks AJ is the answer, the fact is he's not the answer this team playing like a team will be the answer. AJ still has a lot of growing pains to go through and he will probably throw more INT's this year then TD's. We will be lucky to have a back with a 100 yrd game this season. So if this team scores any kind of points we should be happy. It will be a long slow process to get the O into shape and we as fans should just ignore the media because it's never as bad as they report and things not as good as we think.

Just be happy with avg. for a while. I for one am glad Jay is not starting and I think he should have been gone at the end of last season, but he's here and all we can do is deal with it the same goes for Wanny. I don't think this team is the worst team in the AFC east but we sure arent the best either. "IF" and thats a big IF, AJ can play the QB position, and by that I mean 15-18 TD's with 9 or 10 INT's for the season and Lamar Gordon can get around 1000- 1200 yrds and 9-10 TD combined, this O will have improved ten fold over last year.

I would not expect that will happen but at least it's realistic and we always have hope. Just the fact that we have a QB that can throw the ball more then 15 yrds down the field and put it in the hands of a reciever in stride gives me butteflys. All I can say is don't get your hopes up to high because with all the things that happened this off season we are lucky to be where we are thanks to Rick. Next year will be our best chance to make some post season noise in years. If were real lucky this year maybe just maybe a wild card spot.

Well for right now it's better that we play bad defenses so we can practice during games..The offense is not in sync yet..they need more time..

You said it all. The Offense will just have to grow together during this season. There are too many recently filled holes to expect greatness in the first couple of weeks.

I think by the Bye Week (yes, it may be too late by then, but I'm being realistic) that we'll kind of know where this team is at.

There is not another team shooting behind the eight ball like we have been. Others will join us - injuries will happen, some stars will fall, and some of the weaker teams will get better.

Right now - we have a lot to learn and a lot to do to get caught up.

Yes - I'm already looking to next year. But I'm optomistic about what we could see during this season. It's the NFL - nothing's a sure thing... that's why they play the game.

Hopefully the Head Coach will loosen some of the reigns and let the Offense move.
