So who's gonna start @ jets???

If we actually belive Saban that Daunte's shoulder kept him from starting, and Daunte's shoulder heals, do you pull Joey?

I'm not the smartest guy in the world, but I just want to be the freaking jets. I hate them. I hate them. I hate them.

And I think, after today, Joey gives us the best chance to win. Prior to today, I was firmly in the "Joey Sucks" camp.

I just want to beat the jets.

Culpepper should seriously start. The season is over anyway... so play him as much as possible to get back into the swing of things

Harrington is far better than C-Pep right now and if he plays next week the Fins will win and I just really hope that they beat the Jets. I HATE THE JETS!!!!!!!

The season is not over. That's absurd.

There are 11 games left and I, for one, want us to win as many as possible. Do I think we're going to go to the playoffs? Of course not.

Do you think Daunte gives us a better chance to beat the jets?

I think the Fins will be 3-4 going into the bye if Harrington starts because that looks like a whole new team with Harrington in the game.

Could you not find the 50 threads open on this topic already?

I couldn't find any threads about NEXT WEEK.

All the threads are about who is better. I don't care who is better. I care about who will help us beat the jets.

No question about it, only the most die hard of die hard Daunte fans would want him to start next week after seeing Joey play today. For the team I sincerely hope Harrington starts the rest of the season. Even though we lost, I have not seen the team play anywhere close to the level of football that they played out there today. We were a few bad turnovers from a win one on Ronnie one on Joey and one on Welker. This loss should be blamed 100% on coaching, Saban not throwing the red rag on Chambers first down, Mularkey running the ball when it is not working in the second half, Saban not going for the fieldgoals when we really needed to get some points on the board. Horrible coaching today but for the first time this season I felt like I was watching an NFL team play a football game out there.

I agree 99% ( I think CC only got one foot in bounds).

I am a HUGE Daunte supporter + I thought Joey sucked in DET.

After today's game, I think Joey gives us a better chance to win. Joey was decisive today. Daunte has not been decisive all year.

joey's not a miracle worker but the 1st pick he threw and the out-of-bounds incompletion on 3rd and 5 when he had room to run were really his only mistakes. this was a tall order today to beat new england at home. his play was up-tempo, but like others have said mularkey tried to force the run when the field was horrible and then he tried tricky screen passes when we were throwing well down the field.

Actually, if you listen to Saban' post game comments...he just stated that the reason he isn't playing Culpepper is because, I quote "his mobility isn't where we want it to be"...

Harrington is starting next week.

I'm sorry, I've posted this about 200 times now, but I honestly believe Harrington is the answer, not only for this season, but for the next number of seasons. I saw it in him in Detroit, and I knew that whatever team was able to get him was going to be set for the next decade at QB. I'm sorry it didn't work out with Daunte, but in all honesty, he got his shot. He rushed back from a serious injury, and didn't produce. Joey is healthy and played a solid game against a very formidable foe. He didn't pick up the W, but he looked good. #3 is our guy, this year, next, and beyond. Believe it.

I knew the whole bruised shoulder thing was a ruse!
