Just Draft and develop. No high priced free agents, Tannehill should be kept since we'll get nothing but a cap space hit if he is released, He competes for the starting job like everyone else.

There better be big changes for something positive to happen next year because if it stays status quo we'd blow pick one if we got it

If we do it right, Im on board.

Thing is, the FO and coaching staff needs to be set.

Trim the fat off the roster, rebuild the lines on both sides of the ball with draft picks and cheap FAs.

Get a late round QB this year and plan to take a premier QB in the first round in 2020.

I think we are looking at a 3 year re-build at least and that’s if things go right. I would not expect playoffs any time soon. I don’t think we get our future QB this off season and more likely in 2020 or 2021. Then they will take their lumps etc. the Tannehill experiment was basically a 10 year hindrance to the team imo

What would you call the last 20 years?

I totally agree with you. Just need the right guy running the Front Office.

I'd be willing to watch whatever garbage is required to have first pick at Tua. I'm that confident in him being a Super Bowl winning league MVP caliber QB.

Do we either bother extending X with the team in this mindset? Cuz we might wanna go the Raiders route. Stack up first rounders where we can get them (Not that I trust our draft process either smh) but I don’t see what a team in borderline tank mode needs the highest paid CB in the NFL for

I would not mind this if we had someone come in with a specific plan of building up the team from the inside. Again, it’s not that difficult once the right people are in place. Build up your lines. THEN get your QB. Then get the complementary pieces. The QB is clearly the most important piece, so it’s important to set him up to succeed. Otherwise, you get people doing silly stuff like blaming a QB for an entire decade of a team’s ineptitude.
