I heard them say during todays Arizona game that the Cardinals are going to try extremely hard to take care of the Anquan Boldin contract situation. If he's off the market, what's the next best option for us ? Will Bill just find a gem in the draft instead of throwing a ton of money at somebody ? Crabtree would obviously be nice but thats pretty much impossible the way these wins keep piling up.

Thoughts ?

Thoughts? Well, we draft a WR instead of overpaying for one.

Speaking of big WR, anybody hear anything on London? I was hoping he would be pushing for playing time.

Kenny Britt . . . round 2 . . . hopefully.

6'4 - 215lbs

I like Benn from Illinois personally.

Seems like a deep WR class this season though...so who knows.

Benn is a BEAST . . . but I think he is just a 2nd year sophomore if I'm not mistaken (I could be totally wrong tho) . . . but he probably is the best WR for the 2010 draft.

You're right, Benn isn't eligable this year. That being said, the dude is a stud WR.

yep sophomore

with as much help as we need on D, and our O really isn't the issue atm, I don't see how we invest a lot of $ in the WR position, we draft one, not buy one.

If we could get TJ Houshmanzadeh (i really doubt he will resign with the Bengals) i think he would be worth the money. Our WRs would be much better. London should get more of our offense next year. I think there is very few WRs that fits our team in this draft. We need a big framed guy to compliment ginn and cam. Crabtree and Britt might be good options but i think going hard after TJ would be best. We have cap and we need to go after OLB and CB spots early in the draft.

Even though they are TE/WR's I love Travis Beckum out of WI and Jeff Cumberland out of ILL.

Ramses Barden from Cal Poly is a good late round prospect. He's 6'6" and 230 lbs, but runs in the 4.5 to 4.6 range.
