No surprise who No.1 is:

1. QB Dan Marino (1983-1999)

Marino retired in the spring of 2000 with nearly the entire book of NFL passing records to his name. Marino was a trailblazer – a man born for the modern game about three decades too soon. His 1984 MVP season was long viewed as the single greatest year the NFL had seen from a quarterback, and his passing yardage record of 5,084 stood for 27 years. Marino entered Canton as a first-ballot Hall of Famer in 2005 alongside 49ers great Steve Young.

Cox, Ricky, and OJ def way too far down on the list. Also ZT top 5 in any ranking!

Redhead jones way too high. Wake too high, landry too high, Ronnie Brown too high. Ricky too low. Tannehill shouldn’t even be on the list. Was Pennington listed? Offerdahl should be higher simply for his contributions on Tecmo Super Bowl

That top 10 is so impressive. I'd put Dick Anderson quite a bit higher, Ricky Williams too. I'd move Richmond Webb down a little, but overall it's a nice list.

I'm very surprised that DT's Larry Chester and Paul Soliai aren't on this list. Both were better than some of the players on this list.

This is a dang fun thread. There's plenty to debate on the order, and a few good ones have been left out, but wow, so much fun stuff in this thread I'm not even going to nitpick. Thanks!

The list is fun! Makes me remember really good players I’d forgotten about like Gerald Small for example. But then, where is Don McNeal?

I like that they got some guys on there like Duriel Harris who played for a ground and pound type team most of his career. Fasano really that good? Ok. The guy that stood out to me as over over over rated was Ruddy. I though he stunk and got pushed around too often.

Love that Denny is on there and Camarillo for a good laugh. Heck, Ted Larsen could have been 101 for the block he threw on now felon Patrick Chung. If only we did something after that win.

Earl Morrall > any QB not named Marino or Griese. Wow he got hosed there. That RT and Fiedler are ahead of him is a complete joke. The guy has a HOF resume and led the NFL in passing 2x - also won a SB coming off of the bench to bring Balt back against Dallas. ****, he took - or helped take / win - teams to 3 SBs. NFL all star / all pro umpteen times. What a slap in the nuts.

Wish 53 of these guys made up our current roster.

who should be #1?

Anyone from the 70s over Dan.

You gotta win something to be a franchise's best player ever. Stats mean little. Dan wasn't a very good postseason QB and didn't lead average teams far at all, like some other all time greats have.

Still a phenomenal qb but not #1.
