NFL 2014 CUTS Tracker

Conner Barth would be a guy I would look at as a kicker although haven't paid much attention to his preseason.
or dustin Hopkins.

Fisher will continue to say he has total confidence in Shaun Hill. "Shaun Hill is a great experienced leader who inspires the team" blah blah blah... However, everyone knows he is just a journeyman backup. Behind the scenes, Jeff Fisher has to be scrambling. The analogy of floating like a swan is pretty apt. Above the water the swan appears very serene and graceful. However, beneath the water the swan's feet are paddling like hell and he's crapping everywhere. Jeff Fisher is the swan.

Im pretty sure we would be saying the same thing if Tannehill went down for the year last week. Im sure our coach would say how much confidence he has in Matt Moore who is every bit the journeyman backup that Hill is.
If you compare Sam Bradford, Matt moore, Ryan tanehill and Shaun hill from their NFl stats , the wild thing is Shaun Hill has by far the best stats of the 4. Not much the Rams can do. Very few NFl teams have a starting qb on their bench. Has anyone ever herd a coach that lost a starter say oh crap were screwed lol.

OK - we agree to disagree. I expect that the Rams will do something to find another QB. Sanchez, Ponder, Mallett, Cousins, Flynn... If they offer a sufficiently attractive player or Draft pick, someone can probably be acquired.

I guess we disagree , not sure what we disagree on. They may make a move an should because they have no backup now. Im just saying what do you expect any coach to say when they lose their starting qb. there is a reason most guys are backups that are backups.
I wouldn't expect the dolphins to admit that if Tannehill went down they didn't have total confidence in their backup. how is the situation any different. Both Hill and Moore have played well at times as starting qb's and both have bounced around to at least 3 teams in the league.
Outside of Cousins why would u trade anything higher than a late draft pick for any of these guys. Those guys are outside of Cousins are on the bench for a reason much like Moore is. The main difference in St Louis is that Bradford is probably done for good but outside of Mallet and Cousins there is not much upside to acquiring any of these guys. Ponder would be an Ok choice. Not one outside of Cousins would come in and start.

Seastrunk from Washington was cut. Popular rb in draft for Dolphin fans.
