Why is it everytime i hear analysis talk about this years draft picks and who will be an impact player this year, they never mention any of the top ten picks? I keep hearing how Anthony Gonzales (no.32 pick) is going to be an impact player this year. Granted he'll have his chance with defenses concentrating on Harrison and Wayne. But he wasn't even a #1 reciever at Ohio State. Derek Hagan finished his career as perhaps the greatest reciever in ASU and Pac-10 Conference history, and he's are #3 guy.

What make's for a successful rookie season? Probably, the first and biggest component is opportunity. Player's that are expected to start are the one's who will have the chance to shine in there first season. These player's will either sink or swim. And your rookie of the year will come from this batch. Other's will be groomed until good enough, or until there position isn't occupied by a proven vet.

So, it's easy to say that to be an impact rookie, you have to be in the right place at the right time. There has to be a need for them to fill. Player's like Marshawn Lynch, and Joe Staley were expected to start before they even touched the field for the first time. So these player's have a better chance of being Rookie of the Year, because barring injury, they'll start most of the games this year.

There's another player that will touch the ball every game this year, and unlike the before mentioned, this one can score every time he get's it. I think you all know who i'm talking about. If you need a hint... He was the most explosive player to come out of the draft. That's right. It's Ted Ginn.

NFL analysist are worthless. I want to write more but i have to go, and i don't know how to save this and come back. I guess i'm just pissed off at these so-called know it all's for there lack of respect for the Dolphins. I can't wait for Ginn to show these naysayers what speed can do to NFL defenses. Teams will have to teach a cornerback how to kickoff, because there gonna need an extra player on the field for Ginn.

because top 10 picks are supposed to make big impacts thats why they get so much in guaranteed money...why waste their breath on what is supposed to be 'known"?

Of course theres a lack of respect, respect is something you have to earn. You dont get respect in the NFL until you win more than 6 games. They treat the losers like rubbish and the winners like kings.

Just look at the chargers. 4 years ago they were pure rubbish, and ESPN hated them. Now look at them, LT won 4 ESPY's this year, Merriman's a qb-sacking God to them, and the team can do no wrong.

ESPN is a company of bandwagoners, it's there job. They have to support the winners and beat down the losers.

It just sucks that we've been losers lately.
