NFL and NFLPA reach drug testing agreement, Reinstate Dion Jordan, Reshad Jones

I hope they aren't reinstated before Sundays game. Most likely they aren't going to play anyway and it gives us another game to evaluate our players since we are going to have to cut 2 guys to make room. Naturally, providing the bubble guys actually play. :-)

i would go with Darkwa and Gaston as potential cuts. Or Fox and Gaston

I'm thinking Seamster and a DT. Gaston seems likely, depending on what coaches have seen. Putting a player on IR is another possibility.

As per ESPN, an agreement has not been reached, and there are unresolved issues on suspended players.

A miserable week for the NFL has ended with some potentially good news, as the league and the players have come to an agreement on a new drug-testing policy.

The 32 player representatives voted moments ago on an NFL Players Association conference call to accept the owners’ proposal on drug testing.

That happened yesterday.

Watching ESPN, and the NFL has NOT signed off on this agreement, as of about 20 minutes ago.

What the hell is going on? You SUCK ESPN!

No, they don't. The agreement is in place but, not yet signed off on. Many jumped the gun when the NFLPA agreed.

Someone correct me if Im mistaken (which I very well may be here), but dont we only have Jordan and Jones' word that they tested positive for amphetamines? I dont think the NFL discloses what exactly they tested positive for. So its still possible that one or both of them may have been busted for steroids and lied that is was amphetamines (sounds better) and now they wouldnt be reinstated.

Credible reports are saying that they will be reinstated upon the deal being signed off, unless the NFL changes something.
