i made up an NFL BCS. it compiles what i think are the most important things in football:
win/loss record, 3rd down effiency, turnovers, time of possession, and the strength of schedule

the colts in 3rd place?? well, their weak schedule combined with their somewhat low 3rd down efficiency and TOP hurts them greatly here. they haven't given up much points, but their defense does stay on the field too long and give up 3rd downs quite a bit. some other notes:
-notice how low the patriots are ranked! :D
-notice how low miami is ranked :shakeno:
-before i factored in win/loss record, cincinnati was WAY above everyone else, and they are still pretty high above everyone else
-i haven't done anything about home/away games, and i may add that next in some way
