nfl.com afc east

Thanks ! Great read..

It is surprising how the competition in one divison can change from season to season.. Before last year the AFC East was pretty much reserved for the Pats and now its the most "buttoned-up" divison in the league..
However Wyche writes that our front is getting "significant" pressure on the QB.. Joey does that but can't do it all the time and all alone.. He will again wear down towards the end of the season if we can't get some help there (maybe Larry English in the draft)

Also, towards the bottom of the NFL.com homepage they have a poll on whos going to win the AFC East next year.

Breakdown as of now is:
New England: 64%
Miami: 16%:dolphins:
Buffalo: 12%
NYJets: 7%

Total votes: 97181

And you have to love the idiotic comments by fans that followed the article

The one Bills fan is acting like they have an high-octane, firepower offense  I'm not saying we have one but we are definitley more efficent and are realistic about it..

You also got to love how they all celebrated Edwards in the first half of the season and as the Bills played bad they labeled him as "too young, makes too many mistakes.."
Anxious how this year will pan out :)

Don't know if you guys see it this way. but Trent is the 2nd best QB in the AFCE. Pennington is good but IMO Trent is a little better. and if "someone" gets his hands on Brady (got your attention there didn't I) well then we have an old fashioned shootout between Trent and Chad. glad we brought a Cowboy (buffalo Bill) to the O.K. corral

Dude you need to put down the pipe. I don't even have to look them up and I can tell you CP is better that Trent in every single important QB statistical cattegory. Winnning %, comp%, td to int ratio you name them CP is better. I am also goin to add leadership and accountability. How do you think Trent is going to repond with T.O. yelling in his hear to throw him the d**n ball. I can tell you by sitting his a** on the bench and asking for a tissue to dry the tears.

It's dumb to say Edwards is a better QB than Pennington at these point. However, Pennington has never had back to back successful seasons. And say what you want to about TO, he makes offenses better. Edwards has all the tools to succeed. time will tell if he does.

Edwards better then Pennington? Come on man, now that is just ridiculous. Edwards has done nothing in the league so far, and Pennington has the highest completion percentage in NFL history. He was basically a Pro Bowler last year, though people voted for Favre because he was a big name player. I am not sure Edwards is even the best QB on the Bills roster(Ok, maybe that was a little harsh).

Still though, Edwards has a lot to prove yet.

This is my favorite part of the article.
The Dolphins did most of their overhaul last season, with the coaching staff, front office and roster. Team executive Bill Parcells, general manager Jeff Ireland and coach Tony Sparano aren't trying to upset their developing foundation with earth-shaking moves. At some point in the next few years, though, it will be their turn.
The Dolphins have plan they are following and are not going to deviate, too much, from that plan just because one team in the division signed a Hall-of-Fame type wide receiver.

Thanks for writing this up Nubs. I started replying, but then decided not to. I dont think you can reason with crazy.
And anyone who says t edwards is better than chad is crazy.

no one wants to cross the Dolphins on the open field this year. there will be blood

Is Gladbeck short for Monchengladbach by any chance?
