This is the time of year when every fan base believes their draft picks will become stars and their team is headed in the right direction. I guess everyone is entitled to feel right until they are proven wrong. I like that Ireland grew a pair and drafted a QB, but just three months ago people would have laughed if you told them that Tannehill was going to be a top 10 pick and the future face of a franchise.
 
Well I would not go so far as to say love. He bought himself time and is heading in the right direction but Jeff still has a lot of work to do before I fall in love with his GM abilities.
 
I've always thought Ireland is not nearlly as bad as others think he is. His drafts minus parcells have not been great, but have been in my opnion better then the prior GM's after JJ. Only time will tell. Needless to say I am happy with this year's draft beyond Tanny. Getting Lamar Miller was not a nessesity but possibly quite a steal. If the prior GM's had the guts to draft the Best and not the Need they would not have undersold this team over so many draft. To me Ireland not only has a great vision, but is always working to make it happen with the guts not to just settle on what fans want at the moment. Wheather we like him or not, lets not forget he's made some very good calls so far.

i think that is a shared opinion with most of us. Good start . Now show some results on the field. How about a few of his draft picks becoming all pro. There's no one else left to blame now. He's running the show.
 
One day there are protesters and banners being flown from planes and now people want to have a parade for him.
