NFL.com Free Agent Grades: Mike Wallace

And it'll be equally hard to determine whether 1) that's even happening, or 2) if it is, whether that could've been accomplished about as well by a player for whom the team incurred far less of a cap hit.

Whether it's happening or not, whatever they are doing, is working very well overall and anyone that can see, can see RT and MW will be dangerous once they sync up. MW isn't solely responsible for his B- grade. I think we can all say, if they hit on about 4 of those many misses deep, we'd be giving MW an A grade, no doubt.

no problem with that grade. but next year we roll.

You are out of your league. Don't try. Keep posting useless stats.

To a) it is happening. It can be seen every time I sit in the Stadium and have a full view of the field. It was also noted in several broadcast. Maybe watching the games would help you.
To b) The only way you can stretch the field with a receiver is if he is a legit threat which is taken serious by the opponents DC. You maybe able to save a dollar here and there but the threat taken seriously may also be lost.

I'm not mad at that grade, but what I do find funny is how Seattle gets a complete pass for Percy Harvin.

I havnt once heard of a media member question that deal, or even mention it. That to me, is crazy...

I have to wonder how much this analyst actually watched Wallace play, as opposed to looking at some blind stats, and he is really fast, so he has to free things up for RT and other receivers.

My run down has him as having a rough start, getting better, and when he and Tanny get on the same page, we will not be posting about not scoring 28 points. I dispute his freeing things up. Hartline is about the same as last year with #1 coverage, and RT does not have the time or timing to go deep to him.

Sure, he helps a bit but, not much so far. Not to take anything away from how he has played, as he has done well overall with all things considered. He has gone short and over the middle, and even blocked some. We have not seen the best of Wallace but, we will within the next year.

But hartline didn't have a 1000 yard receiver on the other side of him last year. Wallace has taken some of hartline's stats away.
